I go by wells kitchen often when i go to work in Memphis or return home M - F. I'd gp by to read the board in the parking lot for re-opening following he fire. \nI have become very upset hearing that this landmark restaurant may not re-open following the fire that had it shut down for a few months.
The food was really good and the prices were quite reasonable but the actual waitress was so glum and miserable all of us said, " but she shouldn't be a waitress. She refused to crack a smile, looked unhappy and brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert SHE ruiner what would have been a pleasant family outing. The girl who bought out the food was sweet and friendly. What a difference!
This is the go to place for my Grandfather and I. We love the home cooked southern meals. It's a friendly small town vibe and we enjoy our time there. We never feel rushed and the food is well prepared and full of flavor!
