best food and drinks in downtown bristol!
We had dinner before a show at The Paramount. I had the champagne pork (delish) and my husband had the steak. Both excellent! Husband can’t quit talking about how the steak is the best he’s ever had. It was charred on the outside and perfectly medium rare on the inside. Great service too.

The restaurant provides a variety of options, including vegetarian choices like the spicy Brussels sprout appetizer. The food is consistently praised for its quality, with one guest noting the Marsala was some of the best chicken they've ever had, and the salmon special was perfectly cooked, melting in the mouth. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff quickly resolving any issues. The interior and exterior seating areas create a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, making it a great place for a nice meal before a show or just to enjoy a delicious dinner. Customers also enjoy other dishes such as steak, shrimp and grits, and steamed mussels, which can sometimes come with unexpected ingredients like tomatoes. The owners are great people, and they are committed to providing a consistently delicious dining experience. The Mediterranean Chicken Wrap, the Caesar salad with added salmon, and the crispy Brussels sprouts are among the personal favorites of the guests. The restaurant is located on a dark side street in Downtown Bristol, offering a warm and inviting small space with excellent service and a well-executed menu. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, including servers like Samarah, and the great drink selections, especially bourbon and cider. The ambiance is cozy but trendy, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. Many visitors find the food to be life-changing and are willing to drive 40 minutes just to dine there, despite its slightly higher prices. The place has a quaint appearance, and customers enjoy dishes like the pickle board appetizer, though some note the saltiness can be intense when paired with salty Creole dishes like shrimp and grits. Overall, the experience is highly recommended, with friendly staff and excellent food, making it a favorite for many.
