Absolutely delicious, it's just some good Ole down home cooking. And the salad bar is off the chain!!! When you go "Anna Mae" that's the way!!!
The staff are so nice when you enter. My second night eating there and will be back again. The food was well seasoned and reminded me of my cooking. So far everything has been great!!! Thank you for a great 1st & 2nd visit!!
The food is absolutely delicious! It is NOT what you would expect to find in a hospital cafeteria. Some nights they have a salad bar. It always has an incredible variety! If you want a better salad bar, the only one I've seen that beats Anna Mae's is in Memphis. There is nothing like a big, fresh salad for dinner during the dog days of summer when you feel like a dish rag after enduring our scorching days.
Anna Mae's is Brownsville's best kept secret!!!
