We were traveling through Brownsville and came here because we wanted a fix of classic American food, but with better quality than fast food. Livingston's Soda Fountain & Grill delivered with a nice side of nostalgia. We started with an appetizer of Cheese Sticks. We then followed that up with some burgers. I got the Livingston's Burger, which was delicious, while my brother got the Ole Tyme Burger. And as if the burgers weren't enough, these burgers were served...
Food was ok but expensive. 3 people, 1 desert. $100 after tip.
Milk shave was $13 for plan vanilla icecream and literal cake frosting covered in blue sprinkles. The place was musty. If we didnt drive an hour to tey the place out we would have left.

It’s a nice place with a lot of local history. Yes, they still have a soda fountain. They have a lot of people working, and the service is excellent. The food is very good, and it’s not cheap. I the French Toast, which was good but overpriced. I don’t like paying $14 for two slices of bread and fruit. The bread was the normal slice, not even the large slices. My friends had hamburgers, and they said they were good. There isn’t a parking...
