I was so excited when I heard Carmelita’s was moving to East Wood Street! I’ve been a fan of their food for a while, and this new location does not disappoint. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can really tell it’s a family-run business that cares about its customers. The food is just as authentic and delicious as I remembered—definitely some of the best Mexican cuisine in the area. If you haven’t been to the new spot yet, you are missing out!

Was down from Chicago visiting family and this was recommended by their friends, OUTSTANDING!! Authentic food , you just knew was family recipes. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️will be back!!!
