We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. Everything was spot-in homestyle cooking. The coleslaw was crunchy and fresh. The pork was tasty. No sugar in the cornbread = perfection. And the fried okra was about the best I've ever had. Oh! The lemonade was the real deal. So good. If you are passing through and need a bite, stop here!
It's taken me a moment to write this review, but I just had a hankering for the fried okra and was thinking about making a visit.

Stopped for lunch while passing through the area. It was excellent. The fried chicken and cornbread were awesome. My buddy had the meatloaf and soup beans and loved what he got also.Everything was excellent. They even serve REAL butter with the meal. No plastic tasting margarine. I also got a couple pounds of their pork sausage to go. I will be back

Order the backyard cheeseburger only wasn't told the price was not told that a side came with it but still got charged $18.50 for two burgers when I could have gotten two McDoubles for $5 and would have been the same
