Watauga Lake Winery

We stopped at this beautiful winery in Butler, Tn enroute to the Airbnb we are renting nearby. As Shaboozey says in the bar song, “ Oh my, Good Lord”. They have a great space and we enjoyed wine and awesome pizza out on the back patio. Ashlynn was amazing and treated us like regulars even though it was our first time. We will definitely be back soon. We loved our visit.

Hey a another phenomenal pizza and a fantastic waitress, Ashlynn, who went above and beyond to make sure we had every single thing we needed. Unfortunately, they have stopped serving wine flights and you have to go to the bar to do a tasting which doesn't allow you to enjoy the beautiful outdoor seating as you explore their different wine options. This place is such a great vibe for a lazy weekend exploring the mountains, tasting great wine and enjoying friendly and laid back service. The staff were soo cheerful and friendly (like you could tell they really enjoyed their job), the pizza was superb and the wine had a great variety to choose from. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a trip in the mountains and some unique wine.
