The steak for 34$ was something like I could get at a Cafe or older restaurant from the 60,s I won't mention the name . He steak was supposed to be a ribeye and I am not sure what it was but very thin. It was tender but had a lot of fat in it. I'm old school and I believe in getting what you pay for. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED especially when a steak was what I was craving. My potatoes were cold. The salad was good.

Well, well,well...look what showed up...what a charming, friendly place. Driving thru, found this little gem, stayed for hours. Bartender, Chef were so, so cool...Burgers were quite impressive...Poker on sundays.....what? definately putting Carthage on the map (except for that Gore thing that happened). Seriously- cool town. Drive up the back way from Nashville...

We hit it on a very bad day for lunch. The service was inadequate…took our waitress 40 minutes to come and tell us the kitchen had no grouper available, which is what we all ordered. We were finished with the appetizer by the time the plates we requested to share the appetizer with were brought out. By this time we had been there over an hour and still had no food after placing a second order. At an hour and fifteen minutes our food arrived. My friend’s hamburger was so raw she could not eat it. What a disaster! Our waitress did comp our appetizer and gave us a discount on our meal. Maybe things are better at dinner?
My nephew recommended this place to us, so we decided to drive down and try it out. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was very nice. They were having karaoke night and a darts tournament?, and the servers did not seem all that interested in serving us, but the food was excellent and we had a good time. Overall, well worth the 40 minute drive to Carthage if you are looking for something different.
I had the hamburger medium well with bacon, lettuce, tomato and french fries. Best burger that I have ate,It was perfect,The French fries also was delicious.I will definitely be going back.
