The 1/2 chicken we ordered was fantastic! The place was busy, so the service reflected as such. I really wanted a loaded baked potato, but they only offer them Thursday- Sunday, and we visited on a Wednesday. However, we went back on Saturday, and after standing in like for 20 minutes to order, they were out of baked potatoes! A big disappointment, so I ordered the 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger instead, which was very good. I wish I could expound on the loaded baked potato, but...
Great little spot- went because my deceased friend and I used to go all the time and it was during a memorial motorcycle ride to his grade so we went for the memories. Pork shoulder consistent as it has been for several years which is nice. Barbecue is good but BBQ has to be outstanding to separate itself from other places and this is basically what you expect from a BBQ spot. Nothing particularly spectacular but certainly a good spot to eat if you want BBQ.
Food was pretty decent, the barbecue “sauce “ is a “liquid” (textured differently) the plates are pretty much paper plates just reusable plastic. the flavors of the food is wonderful! The waitress could have at least smiled (which makes a person happy!) and the menu is pretty basic they have daily meals but you can’t order that food on any other day (like Mondays are bbq nacho days but, you can’t order bbq nachos any other day) so it makes the menu slightly more dense....
