Awesome place with great service. The 1885 burger was amazing. Didn't love the smoked fish dip but definitely have had worse. Definitely worth checking out.

This place is absolutely wonderful!! We have been several times and it never disappoints. Their drink menu is just as well thought out and delicious as their food menu.Their wings!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness the WINGS!!!! They are an absolute must. Their grits ,"Skeeter Style" is also ?. It's a beautiful restaurant in a wonderful location. All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. It's just a wonderful place to go.Parking: The parking lot is a pay lot but you just select the 15 minute option (free) and they will take care of you at the hostess desk. You just tell them what lot you are in.

Wonderful meal! Great burger, crab cake sandwich, pimento cheese and fried okra. Pleasant waitstaff too. We were seated by the kitchen, but glad to get a table at all. This is a very popular place.Parking: We parked in the lot across the street and the hostess validated our parking.
We were visiting and took a chance on this place, and it was excellent. Exceeded our expectations. My husband got the burger that came with pimento cheese and chow chow, and he said it was the best burger he ever ate! The fried green tomatoes were also delicious.

We have eaten here 2 nights in a row. Everything we have tried has been INCREDIBLE!! The cook, Bryce, is only 22 years old and cooks like a veteran chef! The manager, Tim, is awesome. He treats you as family, not like ‘just another customer’. Our servers Jesse (1st night) and Chris (2nd night) were great! None of our glasses were ever empty. They were always attentive.The wings are a MUST! That Carolina Gold sauce is so good it could be its own drink.The salmon is PERFECT!If you go on Tuesday, you have to get the taco special! This Tuesday it was Salmon!You can not go wrong with any choice on the menu. If you are anywhere within a few hour radius, it will be well worth your drive.It is a very friendly, relaxing environment.This is, hands down, our family’s favorite restaurant EVER!!

Blackened Steal House Trout Was Delicious, Highly Recommended.
Enjoyed dinner on the patio this evening. Served by Maya, the service and food were excellent. Great steak cooked perfectly, shrimp and crawfish etoufee reminded me of my trip to New Orleans. Overall great experience. Thank you!

Horrible service. The restaurant was not busy but our server stood looking out the window chatting with the hostess. The table next to us had to ask for the check twice and still waited a good while before it was presented.

Staff was chilly at best.They seated myself and my husband.My husband was the only one to get silverware.I got my own.Sat without service for 15min.While taking order, didn't ask if we wanted drinks.Sat without food for another 20.People sat after us got food before us.Had to ask twice for water.Only refilled my husband's.I clearly was on the 'Pay No Mind List.'Shouldn't be surprised that a restaurant called 1885 chose to be as 'Historically Accurate' in its service as it's name.The food is as bland as it's service.1 out of 10 - wouldn't recommend. Ever.
