“We just celebrated our anniversary here and we were absolutely blown away. The atmosphere was so cool and cozy. The service was excellent from start to finish… from the man that seated us to Maddie, our server who was very attentive and friendly! The food was phenomenal! So fresh and full of flavor! Very unique and nourishing. We started with whipped feta & pita. So flavorful! Then we had the lamb neck which was out of our comfort zone but I’m so glad we got it because it was amazing! Then we had the beef short ribs and a spicy potato dish. We finished off the night with the special crème brûlée infused with dates and Turkish coffee plus the olive oil cake. The drinks were very fresh and unique as well. I couldn’t recommend this place more. The chef and owner should be very proud!”

“This is my favorite place to go on a date night with my husband. Piper greets us with a smile at the door and its always a consistently wonderful experience from there. We are guaranteed a 10/10 night when Allie is working! She is my favorite (everyone is so great!). We have been there so many times and she can give the best food and drink recommendations for me. At this point I could let her just order for me and I know I am in good hands! Food favorites: hearth roasted oysters, focaccia, chilled soups, easy's salad, gramigna, and steak fries (extra tallow mayo!). I am always excited to mix in something special and new too! “It's small and quaint. The family that works there is extremely kind. They were quick with my order. The food is delicious.

“went to Rodizio downtown for my birthday this year. My husband planned a surprise dinner for me he knew I was a reward member and I would eat free !! We were surprised when getting the bill. They couldn't split the bill up. They could take 5 payments but that wasn't much help. So we were left to try to figure it out amongst us. After all that confusion when we got home. We realized they didn't give us my free meal. So we tried calling numerous times to get answers. We were to told leave a message for the manager. So I did and still haven't received a return call. my bday is in April.... I won't be back, it's simple customer service”

“A brunch all day restaurant is the perfect addition to the southside. I walk here, but there is a nice free parking lot adjacent. The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. So far, my favorites: the French toast, the avocado toast with egg, and I love their thin crust pizza. Drinks, coffee drinks, great service - all the things that make me happy!”

“I’ve only been into this establishment twice and although I was irritated because I was unable to place a call in order so that I could walk in and grab my order, pay and then walk out, I understood that the server was by herself both times.

She completely made up for it all because she was a very kind and professional lady and I was not only impressed with her work ethic but also equally impressed at the fact that although she was overwhelmed she pushed through it all and was a server and a cook that made things happen for the customers.

This woman deserves not only a raise but also some sort of recognition from the company because it isn’t her fault that nobody wants to come to work.

Keep up the good work whatever your name is. I will be back just to see her in action again because she completely knocked it out of the ball park both times that I’ve been into this establishment.”

“We got married on April 3rd and we had 500 Krystal's and 100 wings delivered to the Coffey barn in Cleveland. I was a little nervous about if they would be warm and fresh since they were coming from Chattanooga. But I worried for nothing. They were there on time, they were professional, they set up in a timely manner and displayed them perfectly. And they were still warm and very fresh. Thank you for helping to make our day perfect. I recommend them highly for any occasion”

“This is my most regular local haunt. I try to go as often as possible.

It’s my favorite coffee shop option, as they make the best Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk (just ask for “the old stand by”), their pastries are fantastical, and anchoring all of the amazingness is the quality of the staff.

Sometimes when I walk in and am standing in line I’m greeted by 4, 5 maybe 6 employees. I feel like Norm walking in at cheers.

This place is the best.

Vegetarian options: Lots of pastries, bread, and dishes that have no meat.

Parking: They do offer a parking lot with approx 15 spaces that can get 2 hrs free, and then there is street and lot paid parking all around.”

That said, for three years Mad Priest has been my only choice of whole bean coffee for home and work. A focus on diverse regional beans, educational content on their YouTube showing the human cost and labor to produce fine product, and creative in-house beverage selection that keeps you checking in for menu updates, Mad Priest was worth the drive from Red Bank to re-up my supplies in store. I eagerly anticipate their new location and the expansion of their service as a meeting place in the coming months.”

It was HUGE, I promptly asked for a cup so I could put my top scoop inside it, I was afraid it would melt before I could eat it lol. “I really want to like this place more. I got the combo, pulled pork and ribs with mac n cheese and fried okra. The best part was the fried okra :)))))). All the meat was pretty dry and needed sauce. Really good BBQ doesn't' need any. I really did like their HOT BBQ sauce. I really like spicy foods and it does have a little bite. By me saying it has a little bite, others might find this too hot and spicy. I wasn't a fan of the mac n cheese :(. We did get the banana pudding as well and it's not the old style or what I call traditional banana pudding.

Although we didn't go inside, the outside, sign, parking, etc could use some updates. On a positive note, the service was great and owner appeared to be excited we had never visited before and we were glad the drive thru was still open so close to them closing..

“I'd been living of the West Coast for 30 years and Peets is in a class by itself. In 1988, I moved from the East Coast and worked as a new college grad engineer for Cypress Semiconductor in San Jose, and the president was really big on Peet's Coffee - we had cases of their beans sitting next to coffee grinders. Never tasted coffee like that before. Several years later, one of my good friends lived in Berkeley and we would walk to the nearby Peet's of the weekend. I did not know at the time that that was the original Peet's Coffee. The company has expanded in recent years. That said, this is the only location in this region of the country. You are very lucky if you are in Chattanooga and get to have Peet's Coffee!”
