I am an English major and LOVE old bookstores and books and the vibes this place is putting off.

It's like a speakeasy used bookstore. Loved the eclectic decor and the booths, tables, and little nooks to sit and enjoy your drinks and read. All books were $8 and then some were priced on sale at $3. They had a massive amount of books floor to ceiling and I found some I've been wanting to read for a while.

A few people were wandering around doing the scavenger hunt they have up on the bar so that was cute.

They had some cute merch for sale like totes, reading lights, and mugs.“

Boiled peanuts were worthy of the sketchiest gas station that has the highest yelp reviews in the state (if you don’t know, that’s the highest praise). The owner took care of me, she’s a queen. I most of all suggest the batched white tea shots. They come in cute little airplane bottles (green tea shots are also available). We see BYH as the ideal spot for a girls or guys outing…even for a romantic evening with your favorite person!“

“I had dinner here during my trip to Chattanooga to help my daughter move here from Canada. I stayed within walking distance of this place. The area around here I found nice and seemed trendy and clean. I was able to walk in and got a seat right away. I had a blood mountain drink, it was refreshing and had great taste. For food I had the catfish tacos with fries and an order of their wings. The wings were a really good size. They are dry rubbed and chared. They had a ton of flavour. The tacos were also a decent size and full of flavour. The fries were also good. Service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere is inviting. I personally like brick walls. The wall decor is neat and there are plenty of older pictures showing the history of the city. I will seek this place out again in a future return to the city“

“Everything about Fifty-Fifty is awesome and it’s very quickly become our regular weekday bar. The $15 wine tastings are particularly great. The value is great especially for what they pour but the real differentiator is Faith, who handled our tasting. Knowledgeable about the wine and with some picks from places I hadn’t heard of while making it approachable and fun to learn something new. It was incredible!“

Trinity and Caleb were helpful at the bar, answering questions and serving. Would definitely recommend this if you are visiting Chattanooga.“

“This is by far the best bar I have ever been to in my life! The moment I walked in there I was treated like family. Tons of laughs and super friendly people. I believe they have the coldest beer in town also makes them go down super quick! Inside there's an awesome jukebox and then there's a beautiful porch out back where you can shoot darts. Nothing but positive vibes at this establishment and everybody comes to have fun and laugh. Betty the bartender is amazing and nurtures all her customers and always has a smile on! “My son and I stopped in for his early bday dinner, with it being the day after Christmas I fully expected disgruntled staff. That was not at all the case. We were promptly seated and in the 4 minutes it took for me to visit the ladies room to wash my hands our server Bryan was apologizing for the wait!!! Like sir, what wait? He was incredibly helpful as this was our first visit. He offered in depth explanations of the menu options including letting us know about some of the special imported ingredients from Italy that make this not your typical pizzeria experience. They serve authentic Neapolitan Style pizza. We had the Italian Stallion and the Spicy Bianca. Both were superb. The food came quickly and was everything Bryan said it would be. I also tried one of the several beers they have on tap. The "hello darlin" was a perfect pairing to the pizza. We live in Huntsville AL and will DEFINITELY be making the trip back. Thank you to Community Pie and Bryan for helping me give my soldier an epic birthday dinner.“
