“Consistent cook on burgers during the evenings. (Two people ordering medium and medium rare). Burgers are all over the board on flavors. Pick one and figure out where you lean each visit. Haven’t had a bad burger. I have learned where to adjust on preference of flavors. Good drink specials and beer menu! Their fries are crisp and the chipotle ketchup is very nice to mix up the sweet tang of normal ketchup.“
“This place is definitely a vibe. Very grungey atmosphere, and a good service team. The Thai chili dog is insane, the curry is good (and I'm not even a fan of curry), and the burger is one of the best I've ever had in my life. Fried rice is impeccable as well. Can't recommend more“
“We come back every month. Each month features a burger. This month was the Wellington. Help me say yum.I won't knock the Gomez, but this one blows it outta the water. The Gomez might do with 10% chorizo and 90% beef and still be called the Gomez. Maybe I should have written this review in February. Anyway, Wellington is well made. It may not look like much, but it packs a delicious punch.Paire it with a Paper Crown and you'll go home happy.Kid-friendliness: Many well behaved children frequent this fine fine establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to climb. However, it is an intimate place, and space is somewhat limited sometimes so...keep that in mind.“
“Best burger I have had in a very long time. Cool atmosphere. Visited Tuesday at lunch time and had no wait. Food was made fresh to order but was to the table in a reasonable time. Fry servings are large so we could have shared. Really cool spot.“
“Wow, I'm so sorry somehow I placed the two star review for the Burger King in the Armando's site. So, so much wrong on my behalf. Armando's easily gets 5 stars, as my wife and I eat there once a week for lunch. So sorry for my carelessness on this!“
“Love this place, love, stand-up comedy and I appreciate you guys being open for business and bringing us all the hilarious personalities. Would like to please ask if you guys could bring “Felipe Esparza”. I would love to see him in person and I would have a huge group coming to you. The staff in this place is wonderful and it’s good to have this in town. Thank you so much for your contribution to the community having fun. Please bring back the “Tennessee Tramp””. She is fabulous as well. And hopefully one day we’ll get to see “Gregg Morton” One more time in this Location.“
“I took my girlfriend here on a date and didn't realize it was jazz night. It was nice to hear live music and didn't really mind. The food was amazing! We ate the salad, salmon, Burger, and carrot cake souffle. Everything was delicious! Our server was very kind and informed the kitchen on the dishes we were splitting and also boxed our leftovers for us. The kitchen may have been very busy because in total we were about a little over an hour and a half. I recommend eating here.“
“The food was really good. I got the merv burger and fries. The portions were plenty big to fill me up, especially the side of fries. The service was okay. The waitress was nice, but it was extremely slow. It took over 20 minutes to get our food, which was 4 burgers and fries. It was seat yourself, so I highly recommend sitting away from the door because there's not much weather-proofing. It was very cold near the door when I went and it was only 40ish degrees outside.“
“Oh, fair patrons of gastronomic delights, lend me thine ears as I weave a tale of culinary ecstasy, a parmesan chicken sandwich so divine that even the muses themselves would sing praises in its honor.Behold, the noble breast of fowl, tender and succulent, bathed in a cloak of golden-brown perfection. A symphony of spices, a dance of herbs, enrobed in the finest breadcrumbs, each morsel a testament to the culinary arts.Upon a bed of warmth, a canvas of freshly baked artisanal bread awaits, toasted to a hue reminiscent of the morning sun. Anointed with the nectar of vine-ripened tomatoes, crimson jewels of nature's bounty, and crisp leaves of verdant lettuce that whisper tales of fields kissed by the zephyrs. But lo, the pièce de résistance, the regal Parmesan, aged to perfection, graced upon the chicken with a generosity befitting royalty. A cascade of melted Parmesan, a molten river of savory bliss, flows in rivulets, uniting the celestial flavors in a matrimonial union. The symphony crescendos as a medley of garlic and basil, intertwined in a pas de deux, pirouettes across the senses, leaving a lingering, aromatic embrace. With each bite, the palate is enraptured in a ballet of textures and tastes, a sonnet composed with every chew.Oh, sweet Parmesan chicken sandwich, thou art a gastronomic sonnet, a culinary masterpiece that doth delight the senses and transport the soul to realms of epicurean splendor. In the realm of flavors, thou reignest supreme, a culinary monarch deserving of accolades and adoration. It also comes with fries and a drink.“
“The food was delicious and price was reasonable for what we got. My husband and I got a burger, side, drink, and an appetizer for under $50! That’s hard to come by nowadays. The burgers were fresh and very appetizing. Service was fast and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Loved our experience! This is now our favorite go to burger joint. :)“
“This is one of the view greatest, neatest, locally owned places in downtown Chattanooga that's a must to visit. If you're looking for a unique, quaint locally owned place with an awesome atmosphere, cool decor, great service and the best food ever - you MUST visit here. All the food is fantastic but I'd recommend the King Baked Chicken! It's not served all the time, but when it's on the menu it's a MUST also.Wheelchair accessibility: There's no steps so entry is no problem. And the tables and chairs can be moved out of the way easily to pull up to the table.“
“OMG...I'm so late trying these guys out. Been saying I was going to try them for years but never got around to it. I recently moved close to one that I pass every day leaving work. Decided to treat myself on a Friday after a long work week. I was stuffed but couldn't stop eating it because everything was so good. If you're not a big eater, go with the small. I didn't lol“
“I've driven by this establishment for over 15 20 years.. I had heard about it reputation for good food... I always saw a crowded parking lot... About two months ago I decide to stop for a quick sandwich... I've been back twice each time taking someone with me for a quick sandwich.. I definitely will be going back... Great food clean environment very friendly staff and owner.... Imma try the homemade chili next time...“
“OMG. Hubby and I decided to dine in this time. Everything was on point. I had to wait on my fries, but they was worth the wait and hot. This restaurant reminded me of the old school diners back in the day like on Happy Days ?. It owns up to it's burger size. Thank for the great service. We will be going back.“
“There are places you go and you never know what to expect. THAT IS NOT ANKARS! The food is always delicious, quick service and a family atmosphereParking: They have plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: They have handicapped parking and easy access“
“Great burgers before a movie. A bit spendy, but it's quality fast food so it's worth it.Parking: Parking can be tricky. The hotels have parking garages, but they are for guests only. We tried several before we found street parking a few blocks away.“
“It’s what you’d expect, better than any other fast food burger place but way more expensive. Service is always good too. I do wish they upgraded their soda machines. You almost have to finger punch all your selections.Parking: Shares a parking lot with the Walmart Plaza so there’s plenty of parking.“
“Fast service, and about as good as fast food gets. Reasonable prices if you take advantage of deals and discounts.Parking: Hard to get into parking lot. One entrance is on a main road so traffic is hard to fight through, and the other is pretty steep to get up“
“Add outdoor lighting and better, more inviting directions to the restaurant and you will be much busier. We almost kept driving because it looked closed. Food was fair for the price, service was FAST! great venue, seems to be lacking something "extra" because we were the only ones there all night which made for an odd, library-like atmosphere.Yes, we came on a Monday night, but with the prices so fair you should have plenty of regular local business especially after 5pm“
“Great place to eat. I use to go to Armando's for lunch years ago when I worked in the area. It's been at least 12-15 years since I had been to one but unlike seems like almost every other business, they have changed very little. The food is still great, burgers are very big ( had to take half home for later), tomatoes were fresh cut, two large slices.... what a good hamburger use to be but hard to find if you're not close to a Armando's.“
“Fat Tuesday was my first time visiting, I came alone and still really enjoyed myself! The food was amazing (I had a blackened redfish taco, a bbq pork & slaw taco, and the jalapeño corn fritters), the service was incredibly friendly and attentive (I had about 6 different servers ?) and they have an extensive alcohol and draft list and great weekly specials!! I DEFINITELY will be back and attempt to make this a part of my monthly rotation and will definitely be spreading the word to friends.“
“We found this place randomly and was skeptical about trying but it's one of our favorite places to go now!! great food, great prices & the atmosphere is amazing! we had excellent service the whole time we was there. definitely recommend you to try it out!“
“I really love the food and our server was awesome but please bring back the mad love burger. We drove 30 minutes in the rain, got my feet and pants soaked for a mad love to find out I couldn't have one. I did have a scorpion burger and when it says it's fire ? believe it because it is exactly what it says. Oh and I strongly recommend the Cadillac margarita ?“
“It is a great neighborhood hangout and sports bar! We arrived at 7:30 pm, and the place was still packed. One of the staff saw us walking in and got a table with 4 chairs ready. It is March Madness, and Tennessee was playing tonight, so it was a loud and jovial crowd. Our waitress did a great job getting us our food and drinks quickly. Guests can order at the bar or have a staff member wait on them. There are only a couple of staff who actually wait tables, so it is incredible that they can keep up! Our food was absolutely delicious! I had The Faith, which is a 6 ounce chicken breast that is battered and fried. The sandwich has lettuce, tomato, American cheese, bacon, and wing sauce. It was tasty, juicy, and big! I was thoroughly impressed! I had a mixed drink, which was strong and good. The rest had a beer recommended by our waitress. They really enjoyed the choice. We will definitely be back!“
“Quality is good, but it is entirely ala carte sides included on kids meals only. Vegetarian selections and non dairy products available. Dine in not crowded at all .Vegetarian options: Only 2 but more than most, daughter said Flavor was great and would order again.“
“Great Bacon-Cheeseburger! Better (ingredients & taste) than any fast-food at the same price. Why would anyone in Chattanooga go through a typical drive-thru when there's probably an Armando's close... One of life's great mysteries...Parking: I parked right outside the front door“
“Don't judge a book by its cover! I pulled in this place simply because the line at the McDonald's next door was too long. I honestly didn't expect much and really just needed something quick to fill a hole anyway. Pulled through the drive thru and first off the lady was super nice and pleasant to deal with. As we pulled off I noticed the food smelled really good. I reached in the bag to grab a fry and they were fresh, hot and delicious! Pulled out what I expected to be a smashed ham sandwich with very little meat on it. Instead was shocked to find a piping hot, pulled high sandwich that was sooooo good! Kudos to the people that were working today, they did themselves proud!“
“We found this place on a whim while traveling. So we decided to stop in and we are glad we did. The BBQ was awesome. The only complaint I had about the food is the kids corn on the cob had WAY too much butter. Other than that we loved the Ribs, mashed potatoes, fried Ochoa, and steak fries.“
“The place wasn't busy when we first arrived. Customer service is so so. All of the food is made to order, and given in take out containers. Our hamburgers were wrapped in foil. The Cheerwine float that I had was okay. The pricing is fair. Plan to spend about $10 per person.“
“They’re best at breakfast. So much so that the line for the drive through BEFORE COVID-19 went out into the road on a regular basis. I love the prices and taste of a good sausage biscuit, but often passed simply because of so many others out on the road waiting for one. The line moves fast and my order has always been correct, but when a line runs out into Morrison Springs Road, sometimes you’ve got to pass on that biscuit no matter how fast the line, how good the biscuit, and how good the price. I have also enjoyed their burgers all the way back to the start of “The $6 Burger “. It’s not that those burgers were less than a great tasty burger with more meat and great toppings than other burger places, it’s the exact opposite. Great burgers with fresh toppings, very filling and at reasonable prices. I have no idea how Hardee’s would be covered up every day including Sunday at breakfast, but rather WHY is it not busy and open until at least midnight for the burgers that are equal to or , dare I say better than the breakfast? Either way, anytime of day, you’ll find a good meal here.“
“Canadian ham, bacon cheese burger. Sandwich was squashed but tasty. Almost to sweet for my taste buds. Long line but moved fairly well. Until the car in front of me changed their order at the window. Lost business as several cars behind me left.“
“Great experience with a passionate staff!Do you ever walk into a new place to find it is amazing from the second you enter? From the atmosphere to the people (the energy for lack of a better word) is vibrating and joyful. This is Main Street MeatsWe stopped at Main Street Meats as part of a food tour, and although it was only a brief stop, we were met with such enthusiasm from our server that I hope to visit Main Street Meats each time I come to Chattanooga. And the frozen whiskey sour cocktail! I live in a city that celebrates cocktail culture, and we have quite a few beautiful craft cocktail bars, but this is the first time I have ever had a frozen whiskey sour. Though I live in a town that has frozen ginger beer and frozen wine and other frozen-slushy cocktails. This whiskey sour was beautifully prepared and just delicious! Gosh, I can just imagine having one of these on the summer day.We had a baby charcuterie plate, with a little mix of meats and cheeses and mustard etc, and everything was curated and chosen so carefully. What a beautiful experience for such a short stop! I will be back.“
