That said, for three years Mad Priest has been my only choice of whole bean coffee for home and work. A focus on diverse regional beans, educational content on their YouTube showing the human cost and labor to produce fine product, and creative in-house beverage selection that keeps you checking in for menu updates, Mad Priest was worth the drive from Red Bank to re-up my supplies in store. I eagerly anticipate their new location and the expansion of their service as a meeting place in the coming months.“

“I'd been living of the West Coast for 30 years and Peets is in a class by itself. In 1988, I moved from the East Coast and worked as a new college grad engineer for Cypress Semiconductor in San Jose, and the president was really big on Peet's Coffee - we had cases of their beans sitting next to coffee grinders. Never tasted coffee like that before. Several years later, one of my good friends lived in Berkeley and we would walk to the nearby Peet's of the weekend. I did not know at the time that that was the original Peet's Coffee. The company has expanded in recent years. That said, this is the only location in this region of the country. You are very lucky if you are in Chattanooga and get to have Peet's Coffee!“

“Scooter's is drive thru only coffee shop. Quick and friendly service. I go for the coffee. I've ordered the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich and while I can't recommend the food the coffee and drinks are what keep me returning! 10/10 recommend Scooter's.

“SUCH AN ADORABLE AND AESTHETICALLY PLEASING COFFEE JOINT!! I had an iced chai and my boyfriend had a cold brew coffee and we both loved it. The flavors were delicious and very subtle. The coffees were excellent and I recommend this place! There is also nice seating areas and little outdoor clothing and gifts to look at and the service was great!“

The iced mocha latte takes an equal share in making my day!“

“Absolutely great place to get coffee! This shop is located inside of a hotel but still is great small coffee shop to go to. The barista there was testing different ways of making coffee and giving it the tests to customers to try. Also asked me a few more questions than usual to try and find a latte that would suit me. The atmosphere isn’t the best compared to others but the location and coffee are incomparable to a lot of cafes I have been to.“

“This is my most regular local haunt. I try to go as often as possible.

It’s my favorite coffee shop option, as they make the best Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk (just ask for “the old stand by”), their pastries are fantastical, and anchoring all of the amazingness is the quality of the staff.

Sometimes when I walk in and am standing in line I’m greeted by 4, 5 maybe 6 employees. I feel like Norm walking in at cheers.

This place is the best.

Parking: They do offer a parking lot with approx 15 spaces that can get 2 hrs free, and then there is street and lot paid parking all around.“

“Better than Starbucks! Stopped by on my way north from FL and ordered 3 different meals. Avocado toast, a breakfast biscuit and a breakfast bagel, the bagel is the favorite. Kylie and Marie customer service was also amazing. Kylie provided coffee recommendations and she did not disappoint. These gals need promotions!

“Went early on a Saturday just after 8pm opening, not a smoker and hoped to beat the fog bank that can develop with multiple smokers, cover was around $10 and one drink purchase, I don't do alcohol and opted for a coke zero, it was flat and owner/manager heard and replaced with no problems, the bar tender/cashier Dahlia was a cute petite lady and does dance as well and I got what was a nice private room dance but despite enjoying myself I guess she didn't because as soon as the song ended she had her crocs on and was out the room, I was going to get a few more songs but didn't get a chance to ask, had a beautiful lady Trixie talk and enjoy some small talk with her got several dances from her and she was wonderful, had a dance from a couple other women and enjoyed them as well. As the name indicates it is a bikini bar so all dancers were covered with bikinis, no nudity but I still had a nice time. There were about 8 to 12 different dancers and a wide assortment from petite little treats, bbw, small breasts and large, 5' to close to 6' tall. Will be back.“

“I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I get the appeal of Starbucks as a café and as a place to hang out with friends and study for classes. I really like this one in particular for that purpose because it has plenty of space inside for customers to sit down and relax over coffee or one of their other offerings. This Starbucks location also offers a wide variety of breakfast options and pastries, though they're often in limited supply. Either way, if you're a student, you can come and visit and even use your meal plan to pay for your coffee! Definitely worth a try.“

“I visit Starbucks 2-3 times a day and because they always make my hot mocha perfect. this is one of my favorite locations bc they always make my White Mocha perfect. I felt bad when I saw they are open on Christmas Day but, after It was explained that no one was being forced and they’re making time & 1/2 I’m actually happy that they’re given the opportunity to make some extra.“

“The gluten free food was AMAZING! so nice to be able to go out to eat and not worry about getting sick. Recommend the banana waffle and fried chicken. All the vegetables are GF also. Fried green tomatoes where outstanding! Would be great to have this restaurant in the Birmingham, AL area.

“The hotel is unique! Check-in is at the bar! Stayed here with girlfriends and enjoyed the delightful lobby with multiple seating areas designed in boho fashion. We were given a $10 token to be used for a specialty drink at the bar or their coffee shop (which wasn't open until the next morning). The "bartender/check-in gal" was most helpful and very friendly. Our room (for 3) was adequate although not very functional. Two queen beds sit back to back which looks "fun" but in reality was not very conducive for us. The decor is cool, pegs line one wall to hang clothes, bags, etc. since there is no closet or dresser. The room appears smaller than most with a narrow layout. There is no refrigerator in the room. Ice may be obtained at the bar as there are no ice machines available. An "ironing" room is located on each floor. I would find this extremely inconvenient if I had been a business traveler! The bathroom was lovely and very clean and modern. I particularly liked the walk-in shower. The hotel has one cart for customers to use to help with luggage. My one complaint is the lack of parking. We returned to the hotel at 9:00 pm and had trouble finding a space. We ended up parking in their auxiliary lot which was further from the hotel and very inconvenient. The hotel is close enough to walk to many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Overall the stay was good, fun decor and pleasant staff!“
