“Just do it. Go and enjoy. Whether for coffee and a pastry or a breakfast skillet. This place is exceptional. Friendly staff, great food well presented and a really nice patio. Can't recommend this place enough. We travel up from Atlanta just for breakfast and it's worth every mile.“
“On March 23, I was in Chattanooga for a business trip from Chicago. I used Google and TikTok to help me find a vegan restaurant. I decided to try Cashew. Let me start off by saying I was highly impressed by the aesthetics of the restaurant. It was pretty, clean and hip. I ordered the jackfruit nacho over the phone and it was ready upon my arrival. I met the owner of the restaurant and she was super nice. I was highly impressed by the jackfruit nacho. It was super delicious even my non-vegan co-workers said it looked good. The next day I came back to Cashew for the Bierria tacos and they were also delicious . I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Chattanooga, the food does not disappoint, the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. I am grateful to find a good vegan restaurant when I’m traveling.“
“Best cookies in town! They all have a crispy outside with a warm, gooey center :) so much better than the “other” cookie place ;) the flavors are awesome, with something for everyone. Chocolate lovers, peanut butter lovers, etc etc! The have 6 classic cookies and 2 special cookies that change weekly. Don’t even get me started on the mind blowing MILKSHAKES. Yep, you read that correctly! You pick a cookie and they blend it up into the best milkshake you’ll ever have in your life.“
“Me and my husband ate Crumbl cookies for the first time the other day. This location only had 6 flavors when I went. I expected more choices but these cookies were still the best cookies I’ve ever had in my life. Also… there were two girls working there when we went and they both had the best customer service skills I’ve seen in a long time. They were so nice and so welcoming. This place was so busy when we went but both of them were still so friendly and patient with each person. We visited this place on March 9th in the evening. I wish I would have got their names so I could mention them. Whichever girls were there working during this time need some recognition because they deserve it! Excellent place to get dessert!“
“We had just recently moved to the Chattanooga area, and had stopped by on our way to get some groceries. The front of house employee was so kind and recommended us all kinds of goodies, and everything was absolutely delicious. Everything here was priced very fairly, we thought it was even a little inexpensive for the high quality of the goods. The cola cake & cake pop bites are a must try!? “
“Such a cute spot! My favorites: Mint iced tea, poppyseed chicken, chicken & broccoli, carrot raisin muffins. The casseroles are great for dine in, carry out, or take and bake. It’s a great meal if you need to take dinner to someone or for an easy “homemade” meal that you didn’t have to make yourself. They also have a full spread of treats. The kids love picking something off the counter. Great outdoor dining.“
“Probably the nicest staff ever. Everytime I go we are greeted so kindly and they are so helpful. Yes when you buy the bread it's on its last sell by date, but the prices make it worth it. Just put it in the freezer or fridge. Definitely worth the stop“
“My husband wanted to put together a welcome tea party for my parents and 4-year-old niece. He popped into Six Little Teacups for supplies and ended up getting tea sandwiches, macaron, petit fours, scones, teas. Our niece was delighted and so were the adults. The macaron were especially delicious —world class, even!“
“Met with Sierra to design our wedding cake and she was absolutely amazing! We taste tested multiple flavors and she was so helpful while we decided what exactly we wanted. She is really sweet and you can tell she really loves her job! Our wedding isn’t until October, but I already know the cake will turn out beautifully after meeting with her once. I can’t wait to see the final product!“
“Hands down the BEST cupcakes in Chattanooga, if not in all of East Tennessee. Their cupcakes are appealing to the eyes and delicious to the taste buds. Quality and presentation are just as great, too. They offer creative flavors as well as classic flavors that are done extremely well. Cupcakes are the star of the show here, but there's also edible cookie dough, ice cream cupcakes, and confections like chocolate dipped pretzels, strawberries, oreos, truffles and more! Service was a bit pulseless the day we visited. The two workers seemed a bit preoccupied and almost slightly bothered that they had to stop packaging to help us and the handful of people who came in behind us to order. We did get a "thank you" after paying, though. Designated free parking for Cupcake Kitchen customers can be found just behind the storefront. There's only a total of 5 parking spaces currently, and you must pull in and back out directly onto the road, so parking can be a bit tight. There's an outdoor bar height table to eat at, but no seating inside. Our favorite and most recommended cupcake is definitely the Almond Raspberry ($5). Other flavors we've enjoyed and highly recommend are: Lemon Drop, Chocolate Raspberry, Key Lime Pie, and German Chocolate. Gluten-free and dairy free cupcakes are offered as well! Definitely pop on in and grab yourself a cupcake or two whenever you're in the area. Your sweet tooth will thank you!“
“Listen I was not expecting that cake to be that good! We got a red velvet cake at the camp Jordan Christmas market this weekend. The cake was moist, flavor was fantastic. Hats off to you ladies!!! Will definitely be buying from you from now on.“
“Oh my. The cakes. The pastries. The cookies. But best of all? The CINNAMON ROLLS. Holy Moses, thats the best $4 you will spend. They're massive, they're so wonderful. But honestly, anything you get here is going to be amazing. Their lemon pound cake is to die for. So dense and flavorful. If you've never stopped by here, you're missing out!“
“Poppytons Patisserie made me the most wonderful, delicious cake for my engagement party. It was filled with homemade lemon curd. Everyone at the party was so impressed and couldn't get over how beautiful it was. Almost too pretty to cut into but I'm glad we did. SO GOOD. It turned out more perfect than I had imagined. And it was gluten free :) 10/10“
“Located along Lee Highway about a half block from Shallowford, it's pretty easy to find. The parking lot is small and a bit tight, but there are a good number of spaces available. I did not see any handicapped spaces near the entrance of the bakery, but that's not their fault. There are spaces adjacent to the building and more across a traffic lane. The restaurant is located in the rear inside corner of the shopping center. There is a sign above the entrance so it is easy to locate. Walking in, the baked goods case is on the left wall. We were greeted almost immediately by someone coming out of the rear kitchen area. The staff was helpful in describing the items. Our first visit was near their closing time, so there were not many items left. We did find a few we wanted to try. Our next visit was earlier in the day and the selection was significantly greater.I cannot identify everything we saw or even purchased, but I can tell you everything was quite good. The filled items had fillings like cheese, fruit, one was even ham and cheese. The others were more like sweet breads and muffins. It was very hard to limit ourselves when making our selections as everything looked so good. Tasting each item proved our eyes were good judges of flavor.Mary's Bakery is an unassuming bakery in an unassuming location that provides some excellent products. It is certainly worth your time to visit.“
“Walked in needing a half sheet for a going away. Gave them a crazy drawing and color scheme. And they nailed it!And we requested a marble cake, that many bakeries don't like doing. They said, no trouble at all.Picked up, ready as planned.Everyone at work enjoyed the cake, and were very complimentary of the bakery. I am sure glad i listened to a co worker who said, only Jackson's is going to be able to do it.“
“Such an amazing place. The highest of quality, FRESH, Biblically clean, homemade food for just a $1 or so more than a fast food meal. VERY reasonably priced for what you get. Great ambience and such kind staff. Can’t wait to return and try something else on their menu. We’ve had their Reuben, veggie burger, pesto Turkey sandwich and all beef Hot Dog, in addition to their granola and homemade soups and salads. They are all so good! Do yourself a favor and check it out.“
“Such friendly staff. Very helpful. Those ladies are such a joy when we go. Bread is cheaper than at the store . Just wish they had more of a variety on a few things. We get what they get and put out for us which is better than nothing!Parking: There is plenty of parking. I've never seen it 'crazy' busy. And this is a bakery outlet, not a restaurant. They have lots of different breads and buns. They have snack cakes that you can buy individually or you can get something like 2 boxes of cakes for like $7.00, otherwise you pay more for just the 1 box. They have chips and popcorn and lots of other stuff too.“
“Dan the Cakeman was wonderful, and the cake was beautiful and tasty. My daughter's wedding was New Year's Eve, which was a problem since many bakeries were closed between Christmas and New Year's. A couple of professional bakers recommended Dan, and he exceeded expectations with his willingness to accommodate us. He was able to meet with us for a tasting with only a day's notice (I was only in town Friday-Sunday) on a Saturday, and we even got to take the extra cake from the tasting home! His business location was clean and attractive. He was friendly, even joyful, in demeanor and attitude, and attentive to details. My daughter wanted "bride and groom" chocolate-covered strawberries for her cake-topper, and he made those as well, with other chocolate-covered strawberries for guests to enjoy. Those were done to perfection also. Delivery was just as specified. I would highly recommend Dan the Cakeman!“
“The shipping office are left but not the gated fence But at the first curve, when going up, you must not take the loop for truck route because when trying to reverse to the door you cannot make it their is for shipping To get to the dock you must be careful of the “
“I hadn't been in there in a while because of surgery. It felt great that the ladies remember me and asked about my health. Honestly I like this location better than Collegedale. Yes this location is smaller but the people are always smiling and greets people when they walk in.“
“Hazel approves of the yummy snacks and cookies they offer! She also loves their customer service and making sure she always has her food and goodies. She doesn't like bath time, but does think if she has to have to one it's a pretty good place to go!“
