Velo is a fantastic space with good coffee and excellent atmosphere, but the “No Laptop Sunday” policy is not my cup of tea.
People need to digital detox—but enforcing “no laptops” makes little sense when everyone, including the staff, is just doomscrolling on their phones anyways. I just wanted to grade some essays.

We slipped in 5 min before closing and we’re still served with genuine kindness and patience as we decided what to get. We decided on some classics a vanilla latte(with in house syrup) and a Cappuccino. Both with the milk steamed to perfection 🤌🏻 Proper microfoam and temperature in both! And my gosh the salted caramel chocolate chip cookie! What a delight! Perfect pairing with the coffees. Thank you Nick and Ernie, for the wonderful experience ☕
