Then. Like a bolt of genius, you remember. Sitting in the passenger seat of your SUV is a BIG ol' slab of bologna topped with fresh tomato’s, crispy lettuce, cheese, and a slightly moist bun. WOW. What a treat for dad.
Dad, despite having kids and a wife, doesn’t go to bed hungry.
You might be inclined to hunker down in your garage. Perhaps sneak a beer in there too. Then. When you’re ABSOLUTELY sure nobody’s around, you finish your absolutely scrump dilly leftovers from Mervs. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Go ahead. Get you a bite. Perhaps take a trip on the wild side and grab you a beer to go with it. Might enjoy it right then and there. Who knows?! Maybe even later, too.“

“Central Park in Hixson is always a great choice! The food is consistently hot, fresh, and delicious, and the service is always quick, friendly, and courteous. You can tell they take pride in taking care of their customers. One of my favorite things, though, has to be the funny and creative messages they put up on their billboard. They always manage to make me smile when I drive by! Great food, great service, and a little humor along the way. Definitely a 5-star experience and a place I’m always happy to visit!“

“My family has been coming here for decades and I went to school and church with several Ankars at OLPH and NDHS. I went to the Brainerd location today (my favorite). Unfortunately today’s experience was not great (but there’s no way I’m giving an “I do not recommend”). We ordered 3 hoagies. The bread usually comes out warm and soft (and we usually buy a bag to take back to Oklahoma with us). Today’s bread was not warm, chewy, and a bit tough. The onion rings were cooked unevenly with one basket being very light in color and the other 2 being much darker. Idk how many Ankars work at this location, but I did not see anyone. I hope the legacy is not coming to a close. I still wanted to get a t-shirt before leaving. The girl at the counter was confused by my request and got someone else who had to get a 3rd person to locate the shirts. The size he brought out was M and I wanted L. Had to wait while he checked and there were no Ls. This took about 7 minutes from start to finish. No apologies or offers to order one. I’ll be back to Ankar’s next time I’m in town. Just not this location. I hope that things improve there. Ankar’s was a gem not too long ago and it would be a shame to lose this Chattanooga landmark.“

“Our favorite Cookout Trays are the grilled chicken trays. My favorite is the grilled barbecue chicken. Their cole slaw is very good, too! I wish they had decaf unsweet iced tea. We also wish they would bring back the Christian music they used to play.“

My husband and I were welcomed by the hostess and host with fun and bubbly attitudes. We were immediately sat at a requested booth. We ordered the 2 for 25 deal and dollar Rita's. Our server, Ashley, was perfect even though we ran her back and forth with drinks. Our table was cleaned throughout. Our food was ran to us in record time. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Dollar drinks tasted so good. Can't wait to be back“

“Stopped by Hardee’s on Hwy 58 in Chattanooga and got me a gravy biscuit, with an extra biscuit and the gravy poured over my biscuits. It is so good and Crystal was very friendly in the drive through. She greeted me with a smile and gave great customer service. 😊“

I felt so bad he was working 100% alone in the dark empty building, chairs up on the tables, no cars in the lot, at 12:40am… we thought they closed early but he still had a fresh impossible whopper made perfectly for me in like 5 minutes. “Was here over the holiday break and stopped in with my siblings. The place was super clean and the staff was so friendly. We ordered a couple of items that took a little time to prep and the staff was kind. I didn't catch a name, but there was a young man (I think he'd work there maybe 2.5 years), who was just super energetic and talked to everyone. He made it feel like a full service stop.“

“Every other Thursday I go to this Hardee's. I order online and go through the drive thru. My order has been correct everytime. My food is either ready when I pull up to the window or it is made very quickly. Service is friendly and everyone at this location deserves a raise. “Absolutely wonderful. The custard is well priced, good portion, and delicious. I got the concrete chocolate blend with salted caramel and it was just to die for. My husband got the flavor of the month which was vanilla, fudge, caramel, and cookie dough chunks. Altogether less than $10! Have to try the food next time, but would highly recommend for desert!“
