“It was really good! The food was great, especially the sourdough bread. The employees were very chill and kind, one thing I loved was that the food came out 6 minutes after we ordered! So it’s pretty fast, I can’t say the same about the atmosphere it was very empty but they were playing some Micheal Jackson so that was great! Really recommend it!!!“

“I think I may have had the pleasure of meeting Mindy B herself - and her mama! I felt so welcome here. The kitchen was a little backed up when I placed my order, but I didn’t have to wait in a line, just a tick for my order. Anyone I spoke with in the restaurant was just like talking with family. You can tell these folks work very hard and take pride in this place. I got my food to go (not because of the wait, just because of preference) and when I got back to my hotel, I was shocked at how large the portions were, especially for the price!! I had ordered the vegan wrap with a side salad and I had two meals out of it. That hardly ever happens with vegetarian or vegan food!!! The only thing that kept me coming back was the lack of time in Chattanooga. The food was delicious and fresh! If I ever find myself back in Chattanooga, I WILL be back!!! “I have not eaten at Greg's in years. Today our office ordered lunch, delivery was free, fast, and courteous. The food was delish. I highly recommend!“

“This place is one of the go-to places for sandwiches. Me and my coworkers ordered 8 sandwiches and they were all super tasty. I got the turkey sandwich in a wrap. All the ingredients were super fresh. It is a mom-and-pop shop and everyone who works was very nice. I wish they had an online menu, because I got confused with the menu from other locations.“

“My family has been coming here for decades and I went to school and church with several Ankars at OLPH and NDHS. I went to the Brainerd location today (my favorite). Unfortunately today’s experience was not great (but there’s no way I’m giving an “I do not recommend”). We ordered 3 hoagies. The bread usually comes out warm and soft (and we usually buy a bag to take back to Oklahoma with us). Today’s bread was not warm, chewy, and a bit tough. The onion rings were cooked unevenly with one basket being very light in color and the other 2 being much darker. Idk how many Ankars work at this location, but I did not see anyone. I hope the legacy is not coming to a close. I still wanted to get a t-shirt before leaving. The girl at the counter was confused by my request and got someone else who had to get a 3rd person to locate the shirts. The size he brought out was M and I wanted L. Had to wait while he checked and there were no Ls. This took about 7 minutes from start to finish. No apologies or offers to order one. I’ll be back to Ankar’s next time I’m in town. Just not this location. I hope that things improve there. Ankar’s was a gem not too long ago and it would be a shame to lose this Chattanooga landmark.“

“Came in today on this rainy Sunday. Was greeted by very friendly staff. Talisha one of the managers brought our food out to us and stated she would be back in a few to see if we had any feedback that would make our experience better or anyone’s coming to the restaurant. She came back about 15 mins later refilled our drinks got our feedback and made her way through all the customers that was currently there before she went back she made sure to stop back by check to see if we needed box’s or would like any dessert to go. She also recommended us coming back in next week to try the new key lime cheesecake which will for sure be on my list of things to do“

But my friends order was wrong and it was fixed wrong, then trainer delivered sandwiches to office and they still had mayonaise so employees need to pay attention. I understand it's a new store but can't run a business messing orders up twice in one day.“

“I needed some items in WalMart early in the morning and wanted some breakfast. I had not considered a Subway before, and ruled out McDonalds as they don't have turkey bacon or sausage with their egg breakfast. I was there over an hour before the Subway in the store opened, but the worker was getting set up. She graciously invited me in and fixed my 6" chicken teriyaki sub! Service above and beyond.“

“One of the best subway locations in Chattanooga. I use to work at subway as a teenager so I can hardly stand it, so the only reason I still go is because it’s close and convenient to my work. They have been consistently making my sandwiches properly which is surprising compared to the downtown location where you get a half toasted cold rotisserie chicken sandwich or a gallon of sauce served with a side of rude Attitude.“

“I used to work at Subway. I am somewhat specific as to how I prefer to have my Subway sandwiches prepared. I was happy that the employees at this Subway were able to follow my requests and make it the same way I would have done myself. This has not always been the case at other locations. They were also fast and friendly. I was somewhat surprised when they asked my partner if he was (eligible for a senior discount) over 62 years old, but we shared a good laugh about it when we arrived back home, so it was certainly not a big deal. The bread was just a little dry, and the tomatoes could have been fresher, but I don't expect anything different from Subway. The food was still good and I enjoyed it very much.“
