“First time trying McAlister’s today and it was wonderful! I walked in and was surprised by the comfy, dine in restaurant vibe. The atmosphere was northeastern, and very chill. The team welcomed me in and were quick to take my order. It was very clean and welcoming. I have been craving a Reuben for sometime, which isn’t a popular menu choice around East Tennessee. The team members were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful! When I finally got home to eat my Reuben.. y’all…, it weighed as much as a small dog. The sauerkraut was sautéed perfectly, the corned beef was stacked high and very high quality! There’s an old saying that “you get what you pay for”, and today I got every cent of value. I will be back to try more sandwiches! Well done, McAlister’s Athens team and management!“

“I just want to say something about Vickie! As I dined in for dinner I sat and just watched her interact with her co workers every single time she asked a co worker do something she always said please and thank you no matter how small the task was! Then in heard her ask a co worker to stop doing a task and when he walked her way she said thank you are appreciated!!! I work in the retail world and it just refreshing to head a person in charge thank the ones she was working with! I have always said please and thank you go along way! And when I went to talk to her she was honest and said she wasn’t always this way but she was working on it and I just thought that wqs amazing of her! Anyways gone miss Vickie“

“I travel. I make it a point to stop places and if I like the place I make it a destination stop as here. I do not travel hungry sorry. But the "small" Subway has enough sitting room, clean and busy. Prices are not my concern if I go in anywhere to eat. I don't like the price I just don't go back. Here and now is not my first time stopping there.“

“Staff was very friendly. Place was clean! The staff didn't know what was on the BMT without looking at the menu. The lady mentioned something about the green bell pepper that night shift was doing something improper so makes the customer (me) think that they weren't fresh from today! Also there were NO drinks in the fridge at all! K maybe bc they just had opened about 30min prior... But you would think they would keep them in the fridge so I'm not sure.“

“My daughter and I went to this Subway yesterday to get our dinner. The two ladies working were super friendly and did great making our subs. They both had great attitudes and also the store was clean and all of the veggies and sandwich toppings looked really fresh!! Thanks ladies for the great service and food!!“

“AWESOME sandwich maker Ian Mckinney was super nice and chill and we had a wonderful conversation before I got my top teir sandwich. Never had such a great sandwich. Made my day and maybe even my week. My folks were super happy with their sandwiches too. Seven sandwiches made super quickly with perfect proportions“

“Visited this subway it was absolutely the best I have been to in forever the service was great everyone was greeted by the guy making the sandwiches he was absolutely wonderful if every business had someone as nice and ready to make your sandwich perfect he would be the one I’m not sure what his position is but he definitely would be an amazing training manager that floats to other locations his name is Devon and he definitely is a great example of what employees should be .“
