“We went for the first time on Wed night. Everything was AMAZING!! I checked out their menu before we got there so I could get an idea of what I wanted to order. I was surprised when we got there to see they have daily drink specials. Wine night, Yay!! I ended up ordering the bulgogi. It was so flavorful and you get such a big portion I ate it again the next day. Service was speedy and friendly. Atmosphere was nice. We sat outside and it was very cozy. The drinks and food were perfect. We can't wait to go back. 10/10“

“Lunch on a BUSY Friday. We’d been reluctant to return after 2 disappointing trips to Malones. We had a great meal this time. Juicy Lucy’s for him and Salmon for me. Both dishes were cooked exactly as we’d requested. The staff was slammed, but everyone was pleasant. We had a beer and two glasses of wine. $100 for lunch, but it was a special occasion for us and we very much enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for the hospitality! “My son and I stopped in for his early bday dinner, with it being the day after Christmas I fully expected disgruntled staff. That was not at all the case. We were promptly seated and in the 4 minutes it took for me to visit the ladies room to wash my hands our server Bryan was apologizing for the wait!!! Like sir, what wait? He was incredibly helpful as this was our first visit. He offered in depth explanations of the menu options including letting us know about some of the special imported ingredients from Italy that make this not your typical pizzeria experience. They serve authentic Neapolitan Style pizza. We had the Italian Stallion and the Spicy Bianca. Both were superb. The food came quickly and was everything Bryan said it would be. I also tried one of the several beers they have on tap. The "hello darlin" was a perfect pairing to the pizza. We live in Huntsville AL and will DEFINITELY be making the trip back. Thank you to Community Pie and Bryan for helping me give my soldier an epic birthday dinner.“

We ate at OBC in Nashville their sister restaurant and suggested Malones and gave us a $25 off card. Could only eat half the salad and bread but they made a new one of each to take home. “I visited Ricko’s Pizzeria with my husband and son, and we had such a great experience!
We ordered pizza, lasagna, and a fresh salad with chicken, and everything was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the freshness and quality in every dish.
The pizza was perfectly baked and full of flavor, the lasagna was rich and comforting, and the salad with chicken was fresh, light, and very tasty.
What made it even better was the deal — buy one pizza and get one free, which is an amazing value!
The service was outstanding — very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They made us feel really comfortable.

“A very nice restaurant in the Chattanooga/Hixson area
Aubrey’s restaurants is a popular East Tennessee chain that was founded in 1992 by a University of Tennessee graduate in West Knoxville. It started as a single neighborhood restaurant and has grown steadily. According to its website, and certainly from what I saw, it seems to focus on fresh, comforting American food and friendly service. Today there are about 14 locations across East Tennessee. We visited the Hixson location for a large family gathering. There is plenty of parking available, which made it easy for our group. It is a stand-alone brick building. The restaurant was clean and had a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. There are a lot of seating options for different size parties and both inside and out. The staff was pleasant and our waitress was awesome. She handled our large party very well and was very attentive. They also did a wonderful job accommodating our mobility-impaired family members. I got a burger and fries along with an iced tea. The food came out quickly. It was hot and delicious. Everything about the meal was good. Overall it was a great experience for our family gathering. I definitely recommend Aubrey’s in Hixson to other travelers or families in the Chattanooga area looking for good food and friendly service.“

“I brought my husband to this location for our 7 year anniversary. Our server Demetrius was by far the best server I have had in a long time. He went above and beyond our expectations. He even had the dessert we order come out like the picture. It made our night and we will definitely come back here to eat“

The fries have tasted nasty the last three times I've gotten them. I've looked at them and they're not burnt, and I don't see a green tint on them, but they taste old and very earthy. I don't know if they just got a bad batch of potatoes in or what but I haven't been able to eat my fries for these past few times“

“My family has been coming here for decades and I went to school and church with several Ankars at OLPH and NDHS. I went to the Brainerd location today (my favorite). Unfortunately today’s experience was not great (but there’s no way I’m giving an “I do not recommend”). We ordered 3 hoagies. The bread usually comes out warm and soft (and we usually buy a bag to take back to Oklahoma with us). Today’s bread was not warm, chewy, and a bit tough. The onion rings were cooked unevenly with one basket being very light in color and the other 2 being much darker. Idk how many Ankars work at this location, but I did not see anyone. I hope the legacy is not coming to a close. I still wanted to get a t-shirt before leaving. The girl at the counter was confused by my request and got someone else who had to get a 3rd person to locate the shirts. The size he brought out was M and I wanted L. Had to wait while he checked and there were no Ls. This took about 7 minutes from start to finish. No apologies or offers to order one. I’ll be back to Ankar’s next time I’m in town. Just not this location. I hope that things improve there. Ankar’s was a gem not too long ago and it would be a shame to lose this Chattanooga landmark.“

“Came in today on this rainy Sunday. Was greeted by very friendly staff. Talisha one of the managers brought our food out to us and stated she would be back in a few to see if we had any feedback that would make our experience better or anyone’s coming to the restaurant. She came back about 15 mins later refilled our drinks got our feedback and made her way through all the customers that was currently there before she went back she made sure to stop back by check to see if we needed box’s or would like any dessert to go. She also recommended us coming back in next week to try the new key lime cheesecake which will for sure be on my list of things to do“

“"A team" Go to Chic filet and you'll see one ❤️. I marvel every time I witness what it is that they do that sets them apart in our everyday world full of chaos. They seem to have the secret sauce when it comes to, well-- everything. No, not their polonisian (but it's good!). Their intentionality, their STANDARD, their people, and their people's commitment to their standard is truly worthy of imitation. But there are few others. It's no surprise to me now WHY their line wraps around their buildings EVERYDAY. But it moves quickly! 🚗💨 Yes, their chicken is good but an "everyday" visit for lunch just doesn't have the same feel at other places -- EVERYday. Chic filet is consistent. Go! You will see agreement IN ACTION between their people and Chic filet's standard that dictates that smooth flow of service for you every time. In contrast, the spirit of our now 'severed world' dictates that people act according to their "rights". But actually "rights" must be rooted in WHAT is RIGHT because RIGHT HAS A STANDARD. Just like at Chick-fil-A a person can't just do whatever he or she FEELS is right (to them) or the flow is sure to be compromised -- for the whole team! 😔 So thank you Chick-fil-A for being such a wonderful example ❤️. Because the real team is HUMANITY which is you and me.“
