“Whenever we go up to Chattanooga for the weekend from Atlanta we always stop in at J Mac’s. It’s got this cool retro mid-century modern vibe and has all these sofa and chair configurations so you can hang with friends and feel like you’re in someone’s den. The wine is very good and the owner, John, is just a great easy-going guy who knows a lot about wine.“

“We stopped for martinis on a hot Saturday, loved the atmosphere and the music. I ordered “their take” on a dirty martini and was disappointed. Friends ordered an espresso martini, and loved it enough to order two more. Lesson learned: when a bar offers “their take” on a drink it probably means they ran out and are substituting another. Good, not great.“

“We ordered delivery, so I can’t comment on ambiance. However, the food was excellent and the portions generous. I had the eggplant parmigiana. There were layers of thinly sliced eggplant lightly breaded and so tender. Some of the best I’ve had. Husband had the gyro which was seasoned really well. Would definitely recommend.“

“Stopped for lunch. Our waiter was Curtis. He was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He’s an asset to your location. Food was good but not excellent. Both of us got tacos - grilled fish, and steak. The steak tacos were full of flavor but way over-garnished to the point that that sauce was overpowering. They were drenched - ended up eating them with a fork and removing lots of the sauce, etc. Fries and tots were good.“

“I literally cannot say enough amazing things about this place. My dad and I tried it for the first time Sunday and he thought it would be the perfect place to take my mom for her birthday Thursday. She absolutely loved the esthetic, the incredible service, and I lost count of how many times they both said how phenomenal the food was! The suggestions from our waitress both Sunday and yesterday were PERFECT. They went above and beyond in ways I’ve never seen at any dining establishment to accommodate my mom being a vegan, even going so far as to make her her own vegan desert for her birthday so she did not have to sit there without anything while my father and I ate our selections. We love this place so much that I am literally taking my brother for his birthday TOMORROW lol. A THOUSAND STARS!!!“

“Had my daughter’s wedding shower at Canopy this past weekend . I could not ask for a better place . I highly recommend you to use this for a shower or special event . Everyone was so nice so helpful. The place is so cute and perfect for this occasion. Last but not least the best mimosas we have ever had.10 out of 10 for sure. Thank you for everything you did .“

“Went first time for my birthday and could not stop thinking how delicious the salmon cakes were. Love being able to order online as well. Tonight we had the salmon cakes, athena chicken and garlic parm fries. All excellent and could live off the fries daily“
