“Good food, cold beer, and good atmosphere, though lacks in seating. Great option for a beer bar on Signal Mountain with decent bar pizza, good burger and sandwich options, and delicious chicken tenders for the kids so good I tend(er) to steal a few bites when they order. Great place to grab a beer at the bar and meet some new folks. Have a good digital music system so you can load up some tunes and enjoy. Definitely a hole in the wall recommendation you can be confident in. Oh yeah - might have the best Onion rings I've ever tasted! Give'm a shot.”
“Excellent! I love the subs they make and the staff is always friendly. My only complaint is I don't care for their sides. Chips are perfectly fine, but the potato/pasta salad could be better (everyone has different taste).”
“Delicious cakes, love the coconut and the kahlua fudge. Thumbprint cookies, sourdough bread, cream cheese and blueberry danishes. May be best cinnamon rolls I have ever had.”
“Awesome Food. Great Selections And A Lot Of Variety And Great Desserts And Tiffany And Everyone Are The Best! Highly Recommend To Everyone Who Comes Up To Signal Mtn”
“Great little coffee spot on Signal Mountain!I came here on a Friday morning/early afternoon and it was fairly busy. I didn't have to wait long for my coffee and blueberry muffin though - I ordered one of their seasonal lattes (very good!) and I was tempted to get a breakfast sandwich, but I opted for a muffin, which was also good. There's a lot of seating inside + outlets for if you're wanting to post up with your laptop, which I did for an hour or so. Then, you're right down the road from Signal Point where you can spend the day hiking!”
“Besides being beautiful, delicious cookies that are our go-to treat, year round, the Cookie Lady is an incredibly thoughtful lady who went ABOVE and BEYOND for me and the cookies she made, extra! as if she has spare time ?, for my kid's promotion party. Customer service on another level. Small businesses (or not small) could learn a lot from this gem on our mountain!”
“I ordered a Mari Gras King Cake from B’s and oh my Lord, it was the best king cake ever. My family was impressed ! I will only order King Cake from B’s Sweets from now on! Check her bakery out for birthday, wedding cakes and specialty items.Parking: Parking available behind building”
“The business owners are pleasant to talk too, and they make nearly everything from scratch. The pizza was great and the restaurant had a classic feel to it because of some arcade games set up in the corner. All in all, I'll be back if I'm ever passing through this part of Tennessee again.”
“They boast the best Mexican in Chattanooga and I have to say, I have NEVER been disappointed there. (And there are a lot of Mexican restaurants in Chattanooga). The street tacos are are my fav. I got the pastor and chicken. Soooo delicious! The verde sauce they serve with them is the best verde sauce I've ever had. The Salsa (and chips) has just enough heat but not too spicy. Perfect balance. Service is always great, and the restaurant is always clean. Highly recommend!”
“My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner on New Year Eve at about 4:30. We were the only customers dining in but were promptly greeted and seated. I had the seafood combo, which was tilapia and shrimp with rice and vegetables. My wife had the birria tacos and a margarita. We both enjoyed our meal, which was just under $50.”
“Guthrie’s is probably the best chicken finger establishment on the mountain. Also, Guthries is the only chicken finger establishment on the mountain so I guess that’s an easy win for them compared to other chicken finger restaurants Guthrie‘s is pretty good. I can’t complain the chicken fingers are hot and crispy. The french fries are really good. The Guthrie sauce is just like any other special sauce from other competing chicken finger restaurants, I would say Guthrie’s is above Zaxby’s as far as quality I recommend.”
“Subway today was fast and friendly. Ordered a subway club and it was prepared pretty quickly including time to toast. Paired the sandwich with the raspberry cheesecake cookies and a tea and I was set for lunch.”
“I have been going here for over 6 years if not more. They’re always so nice and treat me to the best donuts you can get if you’re a recurring customer. Love this place and love the cooks/waiter,waitresses! Always my favorite!”
“Tyler did an AMAZING job. After leaving another restaurant that totally failed, we found this gem in walking distance. Food from scratch is fantastic! Flavor is on point. And service is top notch. One of the best experiences yet!”
“Had a lovely meal tonight. The food and drinks were excellent. Jonathan was our server, and his recommendations were thoughtful and detailed. An all-around great experience.”
“This restaurant has great food, wonderful coattails and friendly service. We have been so disappointed in many restaurants serving “cheap versions” of authentic food but the food here was original and well prepared. My trout was perfectly cooked, my husband’s chicken pharm sandwich was delicious and the cauliflower gratin was to die for! Definitely worth checking out.”

“Great atmosphere and service. Food was unique and tasty. Drinks were delicious. Best place in town for cocktails and snacks. Portion sizes are generous and two people can make a meal out of a couple of appetizers.”
“Great food + wonderful service!Must try baked goods! All breads made fresh & gluten free options availableVegetarian options: Tofu available as substitute - just ask & customize your orderParking: Paid parking available across the street”
“If you want good convo and great beer this is the place for you! Veteran owned and operated. We will be back for sure.Do you want to home brew? He has all the supplies!”
“Tori was an amazing waitress! She always had a smile and welcoming personality. She made sure we always had drinks and didn't need anything else. Definitely recommend coming here.”
“Excellent experience and even better food. Walked in on a whim and was greeted by the owner. He and his staff took great care of me and my friend. Had the short rib and ordered the brussel sprouts…both were exceptional. Short rib was tender, flavor was balanced and plentiful, and the sides paired well with it. The bacon on the brussel sprouts was wonderful. Great experience and will definitely go back!Parking: Parking is located in the rear. Easy to miss the alley way to access it. Small lot but can get several cars in there.”
“I took my husband here for his birthday. We have never been to a Korean steakhouse before so we wanted to try it. While making the reservation it asked us if this visit was a special event and I put that it was my husband’s birthday. I was hoping they would have done something special since it was a birthday and they asked me to specify but they didn’t. It’s okay though because the food was extremely good and our server Kevin was the best and very knowledgeable. We were a little shocked that they don’t serve any drinks. They only serve water or alcoholic drinks. It was different than what we are use to but we still loved the whole experience and would highly recommend this place to everyone. The steak was amazing! The inside of this restaurant is very nice too and the atmosphere was very great for a date!”
“The best Indian restaurant we’ve been too. The food and service was great. Lots of options including vegan. Every dish we tried was fresh and tasted amazing. Our server didn’t steer us wrong with his recommendations. They even brought out a dessert for our daughter. Nice clean atmosphere. We will be back! Highly recommend!!”
“We've been here two times now and the food is usually pretty good, get the whipped fetta and the brussels sprout appetizer they are really good. Ambiance is good, might be to noisy for some, and the service is as expected from a $100/guest establishment, well trained and attentive. The reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is simple, my wife got the chicken piccata and the breast wasn't pounded out, it was just a big ole breast of chicken prepared "like" chicken piccata would be, very disappointed with that. I had the scallops and they were prepared exquisitely so that was a huge plus but to get 5 out of 5 stars you need to be perfect.”
“Chic and delicious spot in downtown Chattanooga! We came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday and had a blast. Oysters, champagne, caviar, bolognese, and more! I highly recommend checking this place out. Plus, the location is great if you want to bop around before of afterward.”
“We were lucky to snag a reservation on Saturday and were greeted by Shannon (amazing knowledge and guidance) who helped us through an extraordinary meal. We started with the Foi Gras, proceeded to share the pork belly, and then it was on to our main courses of Ossobuco and a wagyu NY strip. It was incredible, start to finish. The presentation, wine selection suggestions - there wasn't a thing I would improve. Just fantastic.”
“I am looking to potentially move to the Chattanooga area and this place caught my eye! Used books and coffee?! Yes please! I spoke with the owner/operator while I was ordering. She told me that her grandmother opened the store initially for used books, but those don't pay the bills (!) so when she sees people finding books here instead of just coming for the coffee that makes her so happy! There's lots of space and many different seating options. I recently started writing a book and this is the perfect place for that- or any work that needs to get done. Plus, $5 used books are a deal! I ACCIDENTALY got 7....and a latte. I'll be back for sure!! I put that I spent $1-10 for the coffee but I did buy 7 books. Just wanted to clarify!Parking: Free street parking! However, I came here on the heels of a winter storm, so there were not as many people out. Either way, it was easy to park.Kid-friendliness: There is a lot of space that is carpeted that would be great for kids to play on the ground. There are multiple different kinds of seating options too!Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of space between tables and plenty of room. On the first floor.”
“The best southern food. This us takeaway only like a grocery store. Only complaint is the put nuts in a lot of items. Pot roast, Mac and cheese are some of my favorites.”
