“The employee Bob at the Smoothie King in Hixson, TN definitely deserves a large appreciation/raise for his customer service. This was mt first time I have been to Smoothie King so of course I was confused. He took his time to explain all of my options with what I was looking for. He even had me park in the front of the building so he could provide me samples so I could get the perfect smoothie for myself! He also kindly went inside without saying anything and made my son a smoothie. This was the best experience I have ever had as far as customer service! I recommend 1000/10”

“Oh. My. Goodness. I have had several favorite Mexican restaurants in the Chattanooga area, from La Bamba to El Fogon...but there's very little chance that any place would displace my newest and "bestest" favorite, Spanglish (previously Las Morelianas). I went there yesterday with three friends, we all had completely different dishes, and we were all 100% completely satisfied. Although the tastes of each dish (we all had a bite of each other's) were all perfectly appreciated by all, the big kicker for me was that the manager came around, after my other three friends had been served their entrees, and explained that he was sorry that mine was delayed, but that it had come out of the kitchen on time, but he was not pleased with the way it looked, so he sent it back and had it remade. THAT is customer service, and THAT is what makes a restaurant a cut above the rest. I am sorry that I can't remember our lovely waitress's name, but her attention to our need (including refilling our drinks before we even asked) was top notch. I can't say enough good things about this place; everything was not only a cut above the rest, it was all simply perfection, and all four of us agreed on that. Eat Here! You won't ever regret it.”

“I stopped by this place a while ago thinking it was just a shop that happened to sell tacos, only to be pleasantly surprised that it was a full authentic taco restaurant. I bought three tacos to try them out, and they were absolutely delicious. The owner was incredibly friendly and a pleasure to talk to, and the prices were very reasonable, especially for a family-owned restaurant. I enjoyed it so much that I came back again to bring my girlfriend, and we were both delighted. The atmosphere is comfortable, lively, and rich with culture. As a Hispanic myself, it was especially nice to find a place that felt so welcoming and authentic. This is definitely going to become one of my regular spots!”

“I'm typically not a fan of the chain coffee shops but this one is AMAZING!! First of all, the coffee is the best I've ever had but the main reason is the way the company operates and the STAFF!!! Regardless of time of day or weather, they are always happy, friendly and accommodating. As for the company I will forever be loyal. On one particular visit, I wanted to try another coffee flavor but was skeptical, they offered me a small coffee at NO CHARGE!! It is now my favorite, and I get one every morning!! And yesterday, their system was down and they were only taking gift cards and cash. I was told if I didn't have either, they would give me a small coffee FREE!!!! This company and their staff have forever have a loyal customer in me!! Thank you Hixson!!!!”

“Valleybrook Golf and Country Club: A Chattanooga Gem I recently had the pleasure of playing Valleybrook Golf and Country Club in Chattanooga, and I came away thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, the experience was top-notch. The course itself was in fantastic condition. The fairways were well-maintained, and the greens were absolutely pristine – incredibly smooth and lightning fast. It definitely put my putting skills to the test! I was fortunate enough to play with some members who were kind enough to provide valuable insights and guidance throughout the round, which greatly enhanced my experience. Beyond the excellent course conditions, the staff truly made the day special. The golf shop staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. And after the round, the food was simply terrific. It was the perfect way to cap off a great day on the links. Overall, my experience at Valleybrook was outstanding. The combination of a beautifully maintained course, smooth and fast greens, friendly staff, delicious food, and the camaraderie of the members made for a truly memorable day. I left Valleybrook wishing I could become a member myself. It's a fantastic course with great people, and I highly recommend it to any golfer visiting the Chattanooga area”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”
