Kid-friendliness: Limited seating. It’s a small rectangle shaped place with not much for kids to get into. Service is really fast. You can get in and out in 30 minutes!

“The best place to eat! While on the weekend they may be busy and it takes a few minutes to be seated most of the time we have no wait! The staff is so friendly. Kim is the best CHEF IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, and Miko along with Joko give the best dining service!!! The bartenders are also fantastic for those 21+! We come here multiple times a week and always will. “My wife and I searched Google maps for Local Chinese food in East Brainerd. The hibachi express came up in the results and we decided to go. It is located in a small plaza at the corner of E. Brainerd Rd. and gunbarrel Road. We both ordered hibachi chicken and shrimp plates and they were a little over $15 apiece. Our total meal which is the two plates came out to $30 and change.

The chicken and the shrimp were excellent, and the vegetables were very good as well. The portions were big. My only complaint is that I did not like the brown rice you see in the picture. That was the fried rice we requested. It tasted very much of curry and had a dark, brownish flavor to it. I would highly recommend getting another style of rice other than their “fried “on the menu. As i left the rice untouched, the pieces of chicken and shrimp and vegetables were plenty enough to make me full.

I also tried the ginger sauce in which I dipped a few pieces in to see if I would like it. I did not care for it. I did not try the white sauce.

If you are local to the restaurant or in the area, they are good eats and aside from not liking the rice. I felt like they were just as good value as other small hibachi houses around the city.

Parking: Is located in a small wall and you may have to be careful with turns and backing in and out.“

“Delicious food and good service at a surprisingly affordable price. $40 for my wife and I to have habachi chicken each and 3 roll sushi combo for lunch. They were also accommodating to my wife's request for just broccoli for her vegis.“

“This is not a fast food restaurant but they are super quick. They cook the food fresh after you order but we didn't have to wait long. You order at the counter but they bring the food to your table. The food was good and was hot. The only issue we had was that my wife asked for no mushrooms but had to pick them out of her entire meal. The building is much older and could use a bit of extra care. There are pumpers of white sauce on the counter so if you are dining in you can add what you need, or not if you don't like it. Plenty of parking and easy access from Hixson Pike“

“Great food, great price. Had dinner around 8 PM on Thursday. Only one other customer in restaurant. I had chicken stirfry my friend had the beef neither of us could finish our dishes took half home. It was delicious. Service was fast and gave us extra white sauce as we requested. Interior need and clean, but a little shabby with one booth having split vinyl seat. My companion did not like the ladies room, I thought the men’s room was OK. To my surprise, the owner said they were open every night. Our total tab including taxes was $23 or the two of us.

Parking: The restaurant is near an intersection so it can be a little tricky entering and exiting, depending on the direction you were going coming from.“

She’s calls it the “kitty cat place” because of the cat that delivers our food! They had it sing happy birthday! She got a light up crown and a treat!
