Food was good but restaurant did not seem so well maintained...Also seeing the dollar bill on the wall of trump at the sushi bar was a real let down. When will business understand to not post their political views.....you will piss off half your perspective customers. Personally we will never go back...they had an Obama dollar bill as well neither one is legitimate. Many business have lost my patronage for their political stance. Unforced error!

Great family-run restaurant! We had a large group, including young kids, and the service was absolutely stellar. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, and the sushi was beautifully prepared and tasted incredibly fresh. A great spot for families and groups, we really enjoyed our experience. Easy to find parking outside as well.

Sushi Nabe serves fantastic food with an amazing selection of special rolls, including the popular Soddy Daisy roll. The restaurant offers a casual and relaxing atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff who are great. The staff, including the owner Nabe, are very kind, and the waitstaff is a pleasure. Guests can enjoy fresh sushi, tuna rolls, gyoza, hot appetizers like spring rolls and breaded shitake mushroom dish, and warm peach sake at a great price. The restaurant was accommodating with kids, and the waiter made sure everything was just right. Reservations are recommended, as the place is not usually crowded. The cost for a meal is reasonable for good quality food in a downtown location, especially since many don’t drink. Parking can be limited, but it remains a wonderful spot for authentic Japanese cuisine, owned by a lovely Japanese couple, and is definitely worth a visit to this Chattanooga gem.
