“The baristas were slammed this morning but staying friendly. Honestly, they could have used another person or two with the amount of customers they had. She apologized for my wait, which I completely understood. Food and coffee was great.”

Tbh the food is nothing to write home about, but there is no better way to spend a nice evening than outdoor seating, watching the sunset over the lake and (not) feeding the ducks with friends and family! The chips and queso are great and I do recommend! You can also enjoy watching football games inside on tv when it's cooler weather (and I assume other sports).
It's so nice having this gem here out of the way of the busier parts of town! Also my husband is very gluten sensitive and they have never made him sick! Very few places can claim that! If the food tasted better we'd eat here every day!”

“Very clean with pleasant staff and plenty of parking. When I visited they were out of eggs so even though I specifically went at 9:30 AM for breakfast, I was out of luck.”

“I was pretty impressed. We always get dominos Philly steak, today we got papa John's because of the deal, it was so much better, so addicting. I was blown away. At first I thought the steak was sausage, but it was not. It tastes more real than dominos and the ranch sauce was super good. It was a great pizza. Will be back.”

“Incredible time at rodizio as always. Tremendous food. Only thing that was quite irritating was the birthday bongos that were played right behind two combat vets heads and wasn't very pleasant for us. We weren't mad at the service or the people they were just doing their jobs, it was the twisted loud sounds that were upsetting to us is all. Minus that, great time, great food can't wait for another adventure.”

“Since its opening, The Local Goat has been the go-to overnight stop on our I-75 North/South trek. Initially this was because the restaurant was next to our hotel, but now we stop because of the great food. Today, I want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our waitress, Skylar. She reflects good service and compliments the excellent food of The Local Goat experience. Sky engaged in a friendly conversation with a very sweet, personal touch; we will remember to ask for her on our next stop!”

“We love this restuarant and it’s our go-to place for every milestone moments but this review is about a bad experience we had today with our lunch order. We ordered a take out for my husband’s birthday and when we came back home we found one entree is missing. On calling back the restaurant , we explained in details what’s missing and requested them to keep the item ready as we wanted to eat together as a family before everything becomes cold. However when my husband reached the restaurant he was told that they didn’t believe us and then the server went to talk to the chef. After that she was convinced that the issue was on their side and took another 20 mins to give the food. This is outrageous and honestly feels borderline racist. She could’ve checked with the chef before we went back. We love this restaurant but this has left a very bad impression on us”

“This is exactly what I wanted! Brisket that is cooked perfectly without excessive greasiness and tender good. Tried the smoke bologna and that stuff is good too! The collard greens are excellent with a hint of heat. The Mac n’ Cheese is incredible too. This was a great meal at a good price. We will come back when we are in town.”
