I ate at Glen Gene often while in college, and I was happy to see that there is still a location in Hixson where I could take my kids. One of my sons has food allergies, and the staff in front was patient in reading Ingredients to ensure the food was safe for him. We were happy with the quality and serving size of the hamburgers we ordered, and everything was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. This was my first time coming to this establishment. I got the jalapeño burger, nonetheless I was so good. The burger was juicy and the ingredients were fresh. Would recommend to anyone to give this place a try. Outstanding cooking to the Hixson establishment. This place is a must try!

The food is good, but a bit pricey in my opinion. It was over $60 for 4 people to have basic sandwiches, fries and drinks. There is a nice sandwich topping bar to give your sandwhich an individualized flair. It is nice that you can add as much topping as you desire. The veggies on there are very fresh and well presented.
