Good parking lot and reasonable cost for the area.

Closed, unfortunately.

Very understaffed for a Saturday night & homecoming weekend! Arrived for 6:45 seating, got to table immediately. Didn't get food until 8:05 then it was the wrong order! Would have gotten dessert if it hadn't been so late. Highly recommend spinach salad & filet. Very tender beef!?

We had early reservations, ordered kids' meals, salads and "quick cook" items, but it took almost an hour and a half to get our food. Then, the kids' food was forgotten and came out later. Water was only refilled once and often had empty water glasses. Server did not come back to our table enough to check if service was needed. Food was ok, not worth the price. Been to numerous food to table restaurants around the country (are not TN locals) and unfortunately, this was the worst one we've been to.

The service was extremely slow. It took well over an hour to get our food and the restaurant was not very busy. When the food did come it was very good, but lukewarm at most. It definitely had been sitting a long time. Such a shame as it was prepared well and full of flavor. We had told the server we would like dessert when we had finished our meal, but it was well over 20 minutes before she came to our table to tell us about it. At that point we just asked for our check as we had been there for way too long.

Sat on the out door balcony. It was lovely and the extra street noise was not a problem. Celebrated our granddaughter's 10 birthday. The waitress could not have been nicer and more accommodating.

I had heard good things but did not find it to be exceptional. the calamari was tasty, salmon was nice, not impressed with the vegetable plate or the dessert. The cocktail was not very good at all. I do not think I would make a special trip to return. It was fine but not great.

The food was not good and the chef needs to go back to school to learn how to use his knives. I mean my 14 year old can cut more consistent. I asked why there was lima beans and corn in my mashed potatoes and they told me they always have corn and I was wrong about the lima beans even though I showed it to her, insisting that is not what I am seeing. The server was great and even though 212 didn't give me a bill I still left a $50 tip...she was that good and the kitchens problems are not hers. The atmosphere is like an 80 cafeteria and is in need of major updating.

Wonderful "farm to table" restaurant. Love to eat here in the summer with all the fresh vegetables. House Chardonnay was even good! One of my favorite places to eat in Chattanooga. May be a little pricey for some folks but you get what you pay for!

My husband and I had not eaten here in years, many years. We like the fact we can get reservations on Open Table. We went a couple of nights ago. We started with the fried green tomatoes. They lacked flavor and could use a drizzle of some type of sauce for moistness/flavor. The bread brought to the table was not as fresh as it should have been. My husband got the chicken. He liked it until he was almost done and he noticed it was raw by the bone. That ended his good feelings about the meal. I had the filet and it was flavorful, although it was slightly over cooked (was medium instead of medium-rare). I can overlook that due to the flavor. My husband ordered the bread pudding and it made up for the raw chicken. He loved it. I tasted it and thought it was quite good as well. Overall, we'll go back and will recommend to family and friends. We know to check the doneness of our entrees from now on.

Over the past 25 years, 212 Market has quietly ingrained itself into the Chattanooga restaurant scene with innovatively prepared, locally sourced ingredients. The staff is attentive, the food is excellent, special requests are gladly accommodated, and the value is very good. But, please don't all go there at once, as we don't want to not get a seat because they are too full.

Was expecting good things based on a local friend's recommendation, and the menu *looked* good - but we were underwhelmed. Food was OK, but the service was slow and not very attentive. We had a group of 10, and 2 of our orders got "lost in the kitchen". Our waitress shrugged and said "that happens sometimes." I've seen this happen on occasion in other restaurants, and when it does, the manager comes over, apologizes, and comps the meal for the people who were affected. Checks came - 18% "mandatory" gratuity already added. Unpleasant surprise, would not go back. There are plenty of other options in downtown Chattanooga.

Really excellent food, service is fine. Love their market fresh selections. Superior cuisine. Atmosphere is a little 80's and dated - could use a renovation - but the food is amazing.
