They marinate their meats in soy sauce. I have a soy allergy. The waiter recommended a steak so I tried that. It too was marinated in soy. Sick drive home ?

The tomatillo salsa was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my entire life. Their cheese enchiladas are good and their spinach enchiladas are excellent. Yum!

Abuelos is spot on every time I visit. This time I had the Pescado Parrilla (I chose the Australian Sea Bass for my fish) served with their seasonal vegetable medley and cilantro lime and chose the sauce that comes with the Pechuga con Calabaza (spicy, creamy sauce with zucchini, chiles and corn)

This was the first time for me, but others in the family have been to one in Ft. Worth, TX, a few months back. They really enjoyed it, so as we were looking for something different than our normal when in Chattanooga, we saw this on the back side of Hamilton Place Mall. They have 3 different salsas that come to the table. Plus, a hotter one if asked for. All were good, but they were better mixed up based on preference. Everything we had was wonderful. Pictured is their steak and shrimp. The steak was tender enough to cut with you fork. The shrimp was on a stuffed Anaheim pepper with bacon wrapped around each shrimp. Mashed potatoes with cheese and spinach with melted cheese. Everyone working there spoke to you as you were walking through or as they were passing your table. Very friendly!! We will be back. Thank you to their staff for making it a great evening that we thought would just be a quick stop for something to eat. We'll worth the unexpected trip.

Waited 10 minutes at the table without seeing a waitress. Went in search of hostess. Came back to table and a waitress put down chips and said let me know if you want something to drink. I had told my husband let’s leave. She was a real smart butt.

We were for that neighborhood Mexican place to eat and this isn't it. It's a lil more fancier which is ok but wasn't what we wanted. The svc was slow and the place wasn't that busy and the food was just ok. But for the prices we expected it to taste superb. We won't go back.

Been here multiple times, but this last time, Friday night, something was a bit off. Usually the food is perfect but Friday night not so much. Fajita meat was overdone and things seemed a bit off.

So happy I finally tried this place because it is EXCELLENT! Kickin myself for not trying it sooner.
