I've been wanting to visit here for a while, and I'm glad I did! They're known for their tacos and tequila! I ordered the OG margarita, sugar daddy taco, chips and salsa, and the happy pappy taco. The food tacos were delicious and big! Two tacos is a meal! The margarita was made w fresh lime juice, no sweet sour Their happy hour is on point, too! The prices were good, and the service was outstanding. We sat at the bar, and our server was Lauren. She was very attentive, gave great recommendations, and was super positive. I highly recommend this spot!

Too much rice and too little filling in relatively pricey tacos. Not impressed. Good service. Not good value or quality.

I cannot say enough about how delicious our apps and meals were!! The margaritas were delicious and strong! I wish I could eat here weekly, but MA is quite far

Ambiance was great, fun and eclectic. The service was subpar. We went in around 7pm on a Friday and were taken to a table in about 5 minutes (family of 4). Immediately upon walking to the table we noticed an absorbent amount of food and trash (straw papers/napkins) on the floor. Our waitress was mediocre and I mean that without disrespect. I ordered a smash burger taco and it was lukewarm (cold by the time I finished). We ordered our children one taco each and she only brought us one. We then had to wait another 10 minutes for the second taco to come out. My husband asked for no bacon on his burrito, it had bacon. We asked for two to go boxes, she brought one. We needed silverware and napkins, and had to ask for them. It was the simple things that just seemed to be challenging and it made for an unpleasant experience. The best thing that we had was the queso dip and chips.

We love this place. The art work is amazing. The food is better. Awesome drink choices and the service is top notch. You won't regret this experience.

Tacos are interesting and good. Decent prices and margaritas are half price on Mondays. This is the gangsta taco.

My friend and I came on a Friday around 6. She had recommended it since she had been previously and really liked the food and the atmosphere. I'm not a huge taco fan but there were some specialty tacos that looked interesting. We got there and we were seated immediately, which I was surprised about since there were some events in the area and it was Friday night. The decor in the bar is cool with hand painted murals of musicians and other paintings, statues, and chandeliers. What we couldn't figure out were the random barnyard animal figures scattered about. Our server was good and attentive. They have a great list of specialty tacos, but they're pricy, ranging from about $11 to $18 per taco. I wanted to try the kangaroo taco, but they were out of kangaroo. Apparently it's hit or miss whether they have it. We ordered the Mac n cheese beignets appetizer. I ordered birria tacos, and my friend ordered the Return of the Mac smash taco. The hero of the night was definitely the beignets! They were absolutely delicious! There were 4 and we split them. I had 3 tacos and ended up bringing 1 1/2 home. The beignets were definitely enough for a meal for one person. My friend enjoyed her taco and said it was more than enough for her. My tacos were good, though greasy. I'm not a tequila person but they have a huge tequila list and plenty of margaritas on the menu. They offer some other craft cocktails as well as limited beer and wine selections. Overall the food was good and I'd really like to come back and try their specialty tacos.

Food was delicious and plentiful. Service was a bit slow for a called in to-go order. Told ready in 15-20 min. Arrived in 20 minutes and waited another 15 or so. Very cool looking location and atmosphere.

This place came highly recommended from friends of mine and every time I came in town I never was able to make it to this spot. But this past weekend I finally made it here and baby... it did not disappoint. Our party came on a busy weekend when the town had a little festival outside Agave & Rye's doors but we didn't have to wait long for a table. We told them how many people were in our party and were seated within 1-2 minutes of walking in. Service was great and our server was very helpful when making suggestions when we weren't sure of what we wanted to order. I loved the decor of the restaurant and really liked the music that was played. Now getting to the food.... I love me a good shrimp taco and that's what I was hoping for when I came to Agave & Rye. I usually don't venture out to try new dishes often but I quickly forgot about wanting a shrimp taco when I looked over the menu. These creations they have made here are absolutely scrumptious and trump any taco you may have ever had in the past. My table had the queso con chorizo (Epic Size) and we almost devoured it before I forgot to take a picture. When it came to the taco I wanted I had read some reviews of people complaining about the portion size of the lobster on the crown jewel. When mine came to the table I was throughly impressed and satisfied. I never thought I would eat a taco with Mac n cheese in it. The crown jewel was so good and tasted rich with the Mac n cheese. I almost felt like I was committing a sin eating it. I had to take my time to not demolish it first. The Grogu was soooo good. It tasted like I was eating Chinese food in a taco. The kimchi rice and chicken were delicious. I felt like I was eating designer tacos. I thought having two tortillas to your taco (a soft shell and hard shell) was crazy but once you have one of their tacos it's perfect. I can't wait to come here again.

Food is really average and served even a bit cold, but really what you would expect from a “taco” place in TN.Service is ok (Michael - bartender was nice)

Good food. Good drinks. Horrible service. Bartender was absent after the first order. Second round brought half the drinks and had to chase him to get the other. Servers all gathered around the kitchen entrance while people wait. Empty tables outside and still had to wait 20 mins. Management needs to wake up. Customer spends are walking out the door due to apathy.
