An amazing little small plates spot in Chatanooga. Visited from London (UK) with family and enjoyed a pleasant evening dinner in a great atmosphere. ✨

The food is delicately prepared with fresh ingredients and an attention to culinary detail with each dish offering a varied flavour. 👨‍🍳

Service impeccable and the two chaps waiting on our table had a close attention to detail, excellent knowledge of the menu and the area. 🍽️

I would note again that this is a small plates restaurant - it is a dining experience and each dish should be ordered to enjoy and explore the flavours. 🌺

The size of the plates are perfectly substantial when the dishes are spread out. Again, enjoy and relax! 🍷

Recommend the meatballs, beet hummus and the tirimasu! Patatas bravas a natural must, as well as the tahini seared cauliflower.

Thank you guys 🙏

I just had dinner at Amada tapas restaurant. I cannot say enough about the service, the food, the ambience and the decor. Amanda and her mother, Gala have put together a perfect atmosphere for fine dining. The seafood paella was equal to my visit to Malaga, Spain. I have not found anything like that in Chattanooga. The tiramisu melted in your mouth. The drinks were superb. I cannot wait to go back and try more dishes there

I live this place. Very chic and trendy. It’s a beautiful space and the staff is amazing. The food is great. It’s a limited menu but there really is enough to satisfy anyone. As a vegetarian I can easily fill up on their small plates. Their drinks and desserts are really good.

I chose Amada for our salon Christmas party this year, and we all absolutely loved our experience! Gayla and Amanda greeted us warmly, and the space is a perfect mix of swanky + cozy. We enjoyed an open bar with waves of unique & interesting small plates flowing throughout the dinner. The service was attentive. Thank you for a really fun evening!

My husband and I came in for lunch right as they were opening for the day, so we got to have a very intimate experience. Upon entering we were greeted with a well laid out space with moody ambiance. The mural on the wall immediately struck me as it was reminiscent of the murals we saw in Ecuador and I was pleasantly surprised to have a nostalgic moment here in Chattanooga. The vibe was very comfortable and relaxed and we were able to visit without having to speak up over music.
Our server (our main one I believe was named Laura although several others brought items as well), was wonderful and attentive and had a good understanding of the menu and ingredients. Had we not already been familiar with the tapas concept she would have gladly explained and offered suggestions.
I ordered a cocktail (forgive me I can't recall which one) but it was well mixed and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had perused the menu in advance and I already had a good idea of what we wanted to order so we placed four smaller plate orders and one larger one and it was definitely plenty for both of us. The food presentation was phenomenal and the endive was something I would expect to find on a menu in Atlanta or Washington DC. It had a unique flavor profile that pleasantly surprised me. The Patatas, stuffed mushrooms, and charcuterie board were fresh and the flavors were expertly combined. The paella was my husband's favorite thing and came out steaming hot with large pieces of meat.
We thoroughly enjoyed our food, drinks, the vibe and the service! We will be back very soon!
*We parked in the stadium parking area as it was more economical than other paid parking closer. Our walk was less than a block but saved us about $15. Didn't bother us or our experience here in any way but worth mentioning.

We visited Amada Tapas & Wine on 11/22/2025 to celebrate our 39th anniversary, and from the moment we walked through the door, the evening felt special. We were greeted immediately, and within seconds of being seated, the owner, Amanda, came over to personally wish us a happy anniversary. She even placed a charming little sign at our seats—such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the night. Choosing to sit at the bar turned out to be the best decision we could’ve made. Conner, the Bar Manager, was nothing short of spectacular. His warm personality, knowledge of the menu, and effortless hospitality elevated the entire experience. It truly felt like we were in great hands from start to finish. Conner walked us through the entire menu with genuine enthusiasm, offering thoughtful pairings and pointing out the dishes he felt we shouldn’t miss. His guidance made the ordering process feel effortless. He suggested we begin with the Endives, and it was a spectacular start—bright, crisp, and beautifully balanced, the perfect way to open the meal. From there, we moved on to the Chargrilled Octopus, paired with the Patatas Bravas. The combination was outstanding: the octopus tender with a hint of smokiness, the bravas perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. Conner then recommended the Rainbow Trout, which we paired with the Roasted Carrots—a duo that was flavorful, delicate, and beautifully prepared. Throughout the evening, both Amanda and Conner remained incredibly attentive, striking that rare balance between professional service and warm, genuine conversation. Their hospitality truly elevated our anniversary celebration and made the entire experience unforgettable. We ended the night feeling genuinely cared for and completely delighted by every part of the experience. We highly recommend visiting Amada Tapas & Wine—if we could give it 10 stars, we absolutely would.

Wow! Above and beyond experience for our anniversary dinner. Everything from the food, the design, and the service was spectacular. Destin, our sever, was very knowledgeable and the owner was the best; so kind and welcoming. Every item we ordered off the menu was spectacular. Could not have asked for better and we will definitely be back!

Paella for “2-3 people” is a rip off. Besides being expensive- $48, the portion was minuscule and the tiny morsel of rice was burned to the pan. Staff’s initial response to my complaint was defensive and inappropriate. We won’t return.

Amazing food and drinks. I got the duck tacos with the saza-quack and it was perfectly paired! Give the drink a try if you like a Sazerac!

The drinks are so watered down and they used to be known for their negroni's but I basically got and aperol Spritz. I hope they find a bartender that knows what people are looking for. They are nice, but the drinks aren't it.

We used to come specifically for the drinks a few years back, but they have gotten worse over the years. We took some time after they went down hill to see if it had gotten better. I didn't think that it would get worse, but we were supposed to find that it did. It's so sad. Their food is delicious, but I would stick to the food if I came next time, but we look for a place that does both. It's so sad.
