10 out of 10!

Great date night, girls night out, grown and sexy atmosphere, and a place to dress up and go out for the night!

From the handcrafted cocktails, well thought out menu, and the intimate atmosphere; it’s a must experience location!

Each dish is made with lots of love, the freshest ingredients, and the integrity of perfection.

I had pretty low expectations before coming here because tapas for us lately have been overpriced baby bites of disappointment.

BUT… Not sure I can add anything new that hasn’t already been covered by other rave reviews. Awesome ambiance, people, and food!

We had six tapas and all were bursting with tons of flavor: beets, octopus, asparagus, crab cakes, kale salad (how did they make kale taste so good?!) and shrimp tostadas.

Sure, it’s not cheap, but after having so many expensive yet bland dishes out I’m totally happy to spend more on these gems of flavor.

I would probably not describe this place as a super “traditional” Spanish tapas place (no iberico/serano ham, no salt cod anything, etc), but the flavors are so bold and bright that I’m not sure how anyone could complain. And the folks who said the shrimp tostadas were too spicy in their review probably think black pepper is “spicy” /shrug.

Horrible experience. Went tonight and had to return the shrimp tostadas because they were super spicy. The answer was that the chef was from Mexico. We said ok but this is supposed to be a Spanish restaurant… they didn’t want to take it off the bill. Awful. Skip. Check out our bill and our message. By the way, after this bill we had to order pizza for dinner

Conar is a gem. A god among men. If nothing else, go to see him behind the bar!

Conar aside, the food is fantastic. It’ll leave you to where you aren’t uncomfortably full, but completely satisfied. The spicy garlic shrimp, street corn and crab cakes were the standouts. They do seafood extremely well here. Get an apéritivo or charcuterie board for an appetizer and the budino for dessert!

Also, I have celiac disease and cannot have gluten — they are VERY celiac friendly here and are very clear and knowledgeable about what you can and cannot have. We had an incredible birthday dinner.

I took my wife out to celebrate our anniversary and man, I couldn't have chosen a better place! We talked about some of our favorite dinner dates over our 10 years together and by the end of the night. Amanda's Tapas made that list. We shared 5 plates including a charcuterie board and I really can't decide which was my favorite. Every bite was delicious and prepared beautifully. The deserts were amazing as well, and was the perfect top to a great night out. Highly recommend this place!

It was date night, and found the atmosphere perfect, cosy and warm. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and happen to be the chef/owner filling in for a staff member. Really impressed to see the chef stepping up and covering for her server in a time of need. Food was great, she even noticed the steak was overcooked and had a refire ready in minutes, so impressed with the thoughtfulness. Will definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend! This place never disappoints!

New to the area and we found this gem of a restaurant. It has quickly become our favorite place. We enjoy the endives, crab cakes, and shrimp tostados. The drinks are very creative and delicious and they rotate them every season!

The ambiance and design is stylish and inviting. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food is divine and delicious. We tried a little bit of everything and absolutely loved the charcuterie board, endives, potato salad and almond ice cream (must try these!). The couscous was our least favorite. Lastly, the wine selection was fantastic, as was the beer. Highly recommend!

We went to Amanda's for our adult daughter's birthday, 10 month old grandson in tow. We sat at a table fronting the street - perfect ambiance and a great start to the meal. From the charcuterie through the bundino, a great meal. The deviled eggs, the steak with chimichurri, the lamb, the special pork tenderloin, each arrived uniquely prepared and fully dimensioned. The California Cab - Poppy - a great accompaniment at $44 a bottle. Will we be back? Not before next weekend.

Okay, maybe it's not too far from where everything is, but it is a ways out of the way, and the parking rules in the area were a bit confusing how they were written. I did not see much else in the area for casual people to indulge in, but that is not too much of an issue. Now, the place can be easy to find once you are parked and start walking around. Might be one of the very few places over there that is actually occupied in the evenings.
Upon entering, you immediately feel the difference in atmosphere. It is cool, warmly lit, with an open space that feels nice. There was no crowd when my partner and I experienced the place, and we liked the darkened environment for the most part, although it did not feel cozy or welcoming. On the other hand, our server was the one with a warm touch. We were immediately seated, at a very nice corner space at that, with a nice window - although there is not much to look at. The seats are nice and the table is spacious. As we looked over the menus we were given water and I ordered a nice white wine that turned out to be pleasantly subtle. The menu is not overwhelming but presents a good variety of food to choose from. It is simple and pretty basic compared to other menus, but this can be so trivial if the food itself is able to satisfy us more than just filling our bellies.
We made our order and waited no more than ten minutes before the tapas started collecting at our table. My grilled octopus was sensational. Considering my only other experience with octopus was disappointing, I had very little for this one. Yet, they surprised me and I was happy with what I was given. Worth the price? Probably not, but I was okay with this, and I liked how it was presented. We shared fried deviled eggs that I found to be the best deviled eggs I've ever tasted in my life. Now, my take should be taken with a grain of salt because I have not tried many compared to my partner, but these were delicious. I would come back just for that.
Overall, the experience was delightful. It was not loud, it was not crowded, we were given wonderful service, and as long as you have the change for it you should check it out.

Amazing place to stop if you're in Chattanooga! It's been a year since we visited and couldn't wait to stop in again. Great service, food, atmosphere. 1/2 price bottles of wine on Wednesday.
