My first and last time eating here. One they messed up on an order and when asked for the correct item, there was backlash with, “well, it’s the same price.” And said it loud with an attitude. Secondly, I’m sitting facing the front counter, when the kitchen staff placed food on the counter, they are dropping food and placing it back on the item. That is unacceptable.Thirdly , while sitting trying to eat this so called food, they are acting a fool in the kitchen, cussing due to the phone ringing, telling the front staff to lock the doors because they are tired of business. To me, that’s disgusting behavior for the food industry. I have worked in this industry and yes, it’s not easy, but don’t cuss in front of customers and do what they are doing.

The only thing worth ordering at Ankars is the steak sack. The subs have like two thin slices of meat the bread to meat ratio is way off. not worth trying.

My husband loves the steak in a sack. I am a fan of their homemade onion rings. Their sandwiches are great too. If you have the time go inside. That’s part of the experience. I like supporting family business. You won’t be disappointed.

Slowest service I’ve ever seen for somewhere with a drive through. Sat stuck in the line for 25 minutes after ordering, and couldn’t leave the line with how they have the curb and landscaping set up. All to get an order of mozzarella sticks (6) that only had cheese in 3 of them. 100% recommend taking the time to drive over to the other location on Hixson Pike instead of going here.

6:40 pm came in to pick up an order and had to wait 30 minutes at Drive Thru!!!!! Like seriously the restaurant was closed and only open for Drive Thru. What’s the point of taking online orders when you guys close at 6 pm?
