We're from out of town and picked this spot from ratings. it definitely didn't disappoint! Olivia was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations. The fried oyster mushroom were delicious! My husband & I got ramen and both were incredible. Perfect flavor combinations! Def would recommend stopping in!

I don't like leaving reviews, but I want to share our not great experience tonight. For context, we came in around 5 PM, very light crowd with the exception of what I can only assume was some form of "influencer" at the bar. The staff was all over this man, to the point there were 5+ wait/kitchen/bar staff attending to him at once. Ours and other tables were still being waited on, but it was clear the staff was more focused on him rather than the rest of the tables. As this was our second visit, we tried a couple new things, and to be frank it didn't deliver. We're not expecting perfectly authentic Japanese food, but we still expect it to be correct and taste good. The fries were great, well seasoned and crispy; however both of our ramen bowls were not. Mine (shoyu sub chicken for pork), initially came out with pork; that was fixed, however the chicken was unseasoned, the noodles were overcooked, and the broth was watery. My girlfriend ordered the tonkatsu with extra pork and added cabbage. They didn't give her the cabbage, and when she asked the waitress about it, she was told it was already in the ramen. She dug through the bowl and there wasn't any cabbage, and it was clear the waitress wouldn't listen to us so we dropped the issue. I would not recommend having entree's or meals, stick to small plates and alcohol. Due to this experience, we won't be returning.

Delicious! Was so thrilled to find gluten free ramen, that’s very rare. It was great. Awesome, unique drinks, too. Lisa was a wonderful server! Loved everything about the place other than my hair and jacket smelling like the restaurant when you leave haha but worth it for the good food and ambiance.

Dietary restrictions: Menu has clear GF labeling and they even offer gluten free noodles for ramen.

Liz was crazy she challenged me to an arm wrestling contest, which she won surprisingly, her and Olivia were an amazing duo. I hated when they lifted me over their heads, but I loved it at the same time! This place is awesome!

We have been frequent customers here but last night was a turn off. Smoke or poor ventilation in the air our eyes got burning and teary, they opened the back door up the stairs and got better. Katsu bowl rice was way overcooked and soft almost pasty texture, barely any sauce. The Asian waitress with big white bow hair clip gave us a bitchy attitude when my friend wanted to reconfirm our order (67% of table ordered katsu bowl and she didn’t ask once for meat options) when my friend pointed that out, she was unapologetic and said “it’s chicken by default” extremely unfriendly way, instantly dropped her smile (she greeted us with a smile) when I asked to changed my order. I brought new friends here because of the food and friendly service but honestly it was embarrassing. I’m going to have to rethink again bringing friends, sadly. This used to be me and my husband’s go to all the time. Appetizers and drinks were good. Other waiters and waitresses were friendly and “normal”.
