One of the coolest restaurants in Chattanooga. Ramen is the way to go. Tempura Shishito peppers to start, sorry no pic. Add sake, cold beers & you're in for a treat!

This was our first time here. We came right at opening so it wasn't busy at all. I got the Miso ramen and let me tell you...that hit the spot. The Karaage was not bad. Not the best I've had but didn't exceed any expectations. We sat in the front but they had a lounge in the back where you could order drinks as well. I would definitely come back to sit back there. It looked super cozy.

My wife and I really enjoyed our first experience at Attack of the Tatsu. We started with their Lollypop Wings... wonderful BTW. Then my wife had the Seaweed Salad and Katsu Sliders and I went with the Katsu Curry Ramen. We ended the dinner with some donuts. Everything was delicious. To top it all off, Aaron "The Stash" made our dining experience even better. Aaron we thank you for the great service. We will be going back here for sure!

The service was great the food was delivered hot. The prices were not very high either. It was great, but the sauces were very bland, and tasteless. The Ramen was mediocre. The donuts did not taste very good, but they were prepared beautifully and correctly the Katsu sliders chicken were mediocre. It was a fried chicken sandwich with cabbage on it basically and a sauce that was nothing special, the Katsu that I got that was beef was good nothing special. Unfortunately there’s nothing there that I enjoyed so much to want to come back to. I also had a drink. It tasted like whiskey, and it was nothing special to remember other than I really wanted this experience for the food to be wonderful since they specialize in Katsu and Ramen. Also had an appetizer of some fried little chicken bites, and they were mediocre tooif you want, exceptional Japanese food in Chattanooga go to two ten Jack. The server was very well knowledged about everything. I asked her very prompt. The food came out perfect they’re not doing anything wrong, but I won’t be going back because the food is not great. Sorry. The only thing I could recommend is maybe offering better sauces? And working on the drink menu

Went here with high hopes based on the reviews. Service was horrible. Met with friendly faces and seated quickly. That is, it for the good. Cocktails took roughly 25 minutes to arrive, and each one came separately about 5 minutes apart. Lollipop chicken special is extremely basic bbq chicken and ours was very undercooked. Even with the waiter showing the kitchen, he never came back and addressed it. Oh and the ramen, Swanson's chicken broth at best! We had to ask that the undercooked chicken be removed from the ticket. That should not have been an ask. Then we waited another 25 minutes for the waiter to find the manager. With all that said we spent $100. A complete waist. Will never return.

It took a while to get our food because they were super busy but we were sat as soon as we came in and everything was delicious. Worth the wait!

Wasn't much in terms of flavor at this place. I went out of my way to try it out because of the great reviews and they done lied to me. ?

I ordered shoyu ramen and seaweed salad, both really good. I was especially satisfied that the shoyu was not too salty as it's opposed to be, generous portions of broth and ramen, the chasu was small I was glad I ordered extra, good variety of Japanese beer, by the end of my meal I was stuffed with a sparkling clean bowl, I couldn't handle dessert, in all I think they make a pretty decent version of this Japanese dish, the staff super cool and fast, the atmosphere delivered the Japanese feeling, price wise, so so, I'd admit is over the average but is good to have something decent that doesn't suck.

Food was decent but since we had teens with us we had to sit at a counter against the wall. Will probably go back to check out the inside.

We had amazing service and the food was spectacular. We loved the tempura mushrooms. The ambience is cute we sat not in the bar area and had a great time.

The Tofu Katsu was divine. I highly recommend their tofu dishes.Vegetarian options: You can substitute tofu in the sandwiches, bowls and ramen.

Outstanding experience! There is a traditional ramen house room with a big table and sitting family style next to other diners, and then there is the "back room" which has smaller tables for a more intimate experience. All of this is set in a ramen house vibe with a staff second to none. Gracie was our waitress and was absolutely the best at making us feel at home and taking care of us. The food was incredible and worth it. Don't know what else to say. Try Attack of the Tatsu! You won't be disappointed!

It's been a long time since I've had a 10/10 experience with a meal & I don't typically leave many reviews.... But Attack of the Tatsu checked every box- amazing service, awesome atmosphere, & *incredible* food.I've got high standards for ramen, I often make my own 24 hour simmered Tonkotsu broth at home & am typically disappointed by most attempts at Tonkotsu I've had at various restaurants. Attack's was the first I've had in the state that not only was legitimately excellent, but I'd actually prefer over what I make myself. Our appetizers (szechaun lollipop chicken wings) & the mochi for dessert were great as well. There were so many things on the menu we would love to try, but we don't live very close unfortunately. Next time we're in Chattanooga though, this is absolutely the #1 destination.
