A quaint little bar on North Shore. The food hit the spot, and they had plenty of beer options. We went on a Monday night and it wasn’t that busy, so we got great service! Shout out to Taylor!

Very small little place downtown. Great beer selection. Service was good. They had fried okra as a side. It was fabulous! Nice people. Chicken sandwich was good.

My death row meal would 100% be the bacon wrapped chorizo meatloaf. 10/10 atmosphere, staff, and food. Highly recommended. No better place in Chattanooga for good comfort food that makes you feel at home.

I don’t know if our server, Destiny, was hired or summoned, but she wasn’t just taking orders—she was orchestrating a masterpiece of dining perfection.

She moved with the speed of a caffeinated cheetah and the grace of a figure skater. My drink never once saw the bottom of the cup. I tried to test her abilities by taking a sip and making eye contact—BOOM. Instant refill. I was both terrified and in awe.

Then came the meatloaf. She placed it on the table like a sacred offering. I swear the lights dimmed. I heard a choir. Somewhere in the distance, a single tear rolled down Gordon Ramsay’s cheek.

I don’t know what kind of training this woman has undergone, but NASA should study her efficiency. If she ever quits this job, it better be to rule a small country.

Give her a raise, a throne, and a championship belt.

Ordered buffalo wings to go. They gave me unsauced and unseasoned wings. Food was a bummer.

Unfortunately, our experience at Base Camp was extremely disappointing. From the moment we sat down, service was disorganized and inattentive. We were never offered a refill on our waters during the entire 50+ minutes we dined. Half of our order came out cold — the mac & cheese in particular was barely warm, as if it had been sitting out before being served.

We asked for their signature base camp sauce when the food arrived. Not only was it missing, but it took two separate attempts and over 15 minutes to receive it. By the time it finally arrived, I had finished my meal, and my girlfriend’s food was completely cold.

Adding to the confusion, we were approached by multiple servers asking if our order had been taken, suggesting a lack of communication among the staff. Yet somehow, no one managed to check on our drinks or the missing items.

When we brought it up, the staff member said he would speak to a manager. The response? A $1.75 discount for the cold mac & cheese — for a meal that was delayed, incomplete, and frustrating from start to finish.

Great atmosphere, but the service fell well below expectations.

We came across Basecamp on accident and are so glad we did! The sweet potato fries are delicious, crispy and fresh - highly recommend them with the homemade ranch. Buffalo grilled chicken sandwich was incredibly tender and tasty as well! Our server was super sweet and helpful. She recommended the Mac and Cheese, which definitely delivered! We will absolutely be back.

Sarah Jane took amazing care of us. We had spilled multiple drinks and she took care of us to get new ones. She provided amazing service, made us feel welcome, and was always happy to talk to us. If you see this, thank you for your time, and sorry we spilled water into the s’mores, we just appreciated you helping us out with getting a new one.

Basecamp is the kind of spot that doesn’t try too hard, and that’s exactly why it works. It’s like a millennial burger joint, but in the best way possible: casual, unpretentious, and reliably good. Great burgers, solid beer selection, and a chill atmosphere that makes it easy to relax. The staff is friendly, the location is convenient, and it never feels too try-hard or overly curated. Just good vibes, good food, and no fuss.

Great place for drinks but not for someone with a gluten intolerance, getting charger 17$ for a chicken breast with a melted piece of cheese on top, and a single piece of lettuce with burnt sweet potato fries isnt worth it. I’ve gone twice with friends and each time server told me they had gluten free buns but were out. Great atmosphere, great drink selection, great vibes, great service.
