We loved this southern style restaurant! The fried chicken is delicious!!! Collard greens, potatoes and gravy, vinegar beets, potato salad, corn muffins, beef brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, iced tea and water is what you can expect on a rotating dining table. It's like stepping back in time, which we appreciate, when families still sat down together and had a wholesome meal and good conversation.

It's good and bad that this place is so far away. We would end up eating here way too much! You know a place is good if they can make breast chicken taste tender. The chicken dumplings were awesome. The homemade pickled beets brought me back to a place I have not been in a long time. The fried okra was perfect (best we have ever had). The collard greens and pinto beans were great. They could take some of the BBQ chicken and slaw and throw it on the homemade rolls and sell...
