The food was truly outstanding, the flavors were perfectly balanced, everything tasted fresh, and each dish was clearly prepared with care. The restaurant has a calm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay. The space is a bit limited, so while we didn’t have to wait for a table, some guests who arrived after us did, though the wait wasn’t too long. We’ll definitely be back! 10/10

We happened to stumble upon Bento-Ya during a quick day trip to Chattanooga. This place is PHENOMENAL! Greeted as soon as we walked in by all staff, menu wasn’t overwhelming, and the food was every bit of 5 stars! My daughter and I both had the salmon and tuna poke bowl, I tried both onigiri flavors, and my husband got ramen and salmon nigiri. The fish was so incredibly fresh in all of our dishes. We will definitely be back next time we are in Chattanooga!

🍱 Bento Ya! Review 🍣

We finally tried Bento Ya! and WOW absolutely worth the hype. I had the teriyaki salmon bento, perfectly glazed, tender, and full of flavor. It came with crispy, delicious gyoza that were honestly some of the best I’ve had.

My husband ordered the sukiyaki beef bento, and the beef was rich, savory, and melt-in-your-mouth good. He paired it with veggie sushi, which was fresh and well balanced, and finished with a bowl of oden soup warm, comforting, and packed with flavor.

The place was POPPIN (seriously busy), but don’t let that scare you off it is 100% worth the wait. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

If you’re even thinking about going… GO. We’ll definitely be back. 🍜✨

GREAT Japanese food! Lovely service too! They have wonderful udon noodle soup! Just keep in mind they don’t take bills larger than 20’s if you’re paying in cash when you come :)

Really good Japanese food here. I had the beef rice don and that was super flavorful and the perfect portion. The employees were friendly and prompt. This place is great for a quick lunch.

Bento ya is so good! Really delicious food — some of the best tonkotsu broth I’ve ever had. The salmon rice don and tuna sushi is also awesome. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu.

This is hands down the best bowl of tonkatsu ramen in town! I've also had the onigiri and udon, which were phenomenal as well. The people are very friendly and the atmosphere is super chill. Definitely would recommend!
