Big Bad Breakfast - Chattanooga

This is a really beautiful place and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. I was very impressed with the service – both of the staff members who helped us were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They were patient, warm, and really made the experience even more special.

The food options were delicious, with a great variety to choose from. Everything we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The entire menu is available throughout their opening hours, which is super convenient. We went during breakfast time, although I actually ordered a lunch dish, and it was just as fresh and tasty. Their hours, from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, make it the perfect place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, whether you’re an early riser or coming in later.

The place itself is spotless – from the dining area to the restrooms, everything was very clean. The outdoor seating is also a big plus. The tables outside are spacious and quite comfortable, especially now in the summer with the warm weather. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back soon.

Best place to catch breakfast or brunch. Staff was very polite and friendly. The food was made to order freshly cooked and on time. I highly recommend.

The skillet I had was super delish. Served with a huge warm biscuit with house made blueberry jam. My husband had poached eggs over hash brown cakes,spinach, ham and hollandaise. Oh my! A side of pancakes and fresh really fresh OJ hit the spot.
Drew was an excellent server and most personable. Highly recommend!!

We ordered Jack Benny and Big Bad Skillet. The food was good, I put 4 starts just because it was too salty for my taste.

My experience here was pretty awful. There were only 1 option for vegetarian entrees. I ended up going with an order of biscuits with hashbrowns. For buttermilk biscuits they were more like hockey pucks. The hashbrowns were the best part of the whole experience.

Hour long wait for mediocre food, and laughable portions.

I was able to try a couple different plates. In the end they were all bland at best.

Wait at front to be acknowledged and sat in a table 3-5 minutes. Not bad. Then we sat at the table for 15 minutes while waitresses went to all the surrounding tables (literally right next to us) while we sat without anyone coming by. No water. No acknowledgment whatsoever. So we got up and left and went to Ruby Sunshine. Door held open for us by guy at front, sat immediately, and waitress there in 45 seconds. Food at BBB is truly good but today their service SUCKED!

Really great place with really great staff. Highly recommend! Shrimp and grits is very very good. They even made one free of pork and beef products for my partner who has a rare meat allergy. It was still excellent!
