Jehanna, the bartender, was amazing and I think our guests might have liked her more than they like us. If I ever have another event that requires bartending services, I'd definitely contact Black Tie Affair.

I can't sing their praises enough. I was in an urgent need for extra hands at the end of the wedding night to make sure everything was cleaned and broken down in a timely manner. The servers they provided went above and beyond. They were so helpful and professional. They are a MUST HAVE for any local events. Highly recommend!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.I was quite impressed by this company for their willingness to work with my budget and for their overall friendliness at first. After getting a more in depth quote, it was apparent that all of this was a façade. They quoted me an outrageous number of servers and bartenders and refused to decrease the amount to work with my budget. I attempted to compromise my budget as much as possible to meet in the middle and they absolutely refused.See screenshot below of the final email I received from them. I do not recommend this company.

Pete and his staff did a fantastic job with our wedding. Service was stellar and everyone was very polite. Pete even made sure we got to try some of the hors d’oeurves we missed while we were taking wedding photos. Bartender was also top notch. For “Grade A” service these are the guys to call!

Christina was our server at a private event at UAH in Huntsville AL tonight. She was so happy pleasant and went out of her way to accommodate our many needs. Black Tie Affair knows how to select the best of the best for their staff.

We used Black Tie for our wedding reception. About a month before my husband and I both spoke with Pete and let him now we were doing a brunch wedding where we wanted mimosas, bloody marys, wine, and beer to be served. He gave us a number of how many wine bottles, vodka bottles, and beer bottles we should have for 150 guest. The price per bartenders was an awesome price and Pete was very nice to work with. However, his staff was HORRIBLE!!!! They stopped serving guest at the BEGINNING of the reception saying everyone needed to eat while they closed the bar for 20 minutes. Again this was a brunch wedding so no one was out of control. They did find champagne bottles in the bridal suite / a whiskey bottle my mother purchased for my husband and TWELVE groomsmen in the grooms suite while we got ready for the day and they then told us we weren't allowed to have drinks other then what they were serving. I have been in several weddings and the bridal party always has mimosas etc while they get ready, if we weren't allowed to have this then that is information we should have been told before hand. I think because of this the bartenders tried to cut all of the guest off. We are a group who LOVES to dance so I'm not sure if they thought everyone was intoxicated but that was not the case at all. When I tried speaking with the Bartender she was extremely hateful!! I also didn't appreciate that they blamed everything on us (the bride and groom) they told our guest we ran out of alcohol (we didn't) and cups (which there was still cups). We purchased 200 "take home" cups and over 200 plastics cups for 150 guest. I did see our take home cups in the trash so they were not reusing the cups, which again in all the wedding I've been to/in these cups are always reused by the bartenders and then guest take them home after the wedding. It was just all around horrible and could have ruined the day if I hadn't just walked away from the evil bartender. Lots of my guest witnessed them be extremely rude and have many many negative complaints about how they were treated.

We used Black Tie Affair as bartenders for our wedding reception. You need to book each bartender for a minimum of six hours - but they will help with whatever you need (they even put together our plastic champagne flutes!). The bartenders were very professional and efficient and we would absolutely use them again!

I have used Black Tie Affair many times over many years. It is my go-to place for great help when having a gathering. It is amazing how much they can accomplish with one or two people here. I get to enjoy my guests, they do all the work! They quickly learn the layout of the kitchen and party area, so I can relax. When the festivities are over, It's all cleaned up!!

We had two parties where we used Black Tie Affair. I cannot say enough about how great Daisy was at both parties! She was always one step ahead of us and almost invisible taking care of our guests, food, drink and cleanup. It was well worth having these professionals and enabled us to enjoy the party.
