Who doesn't love a good bratwurst! We stopped here for lunch and now we may not be able to eat dinner; we are so full. The Fine Schwein Platter is great. We loved the cabbage! Definitely a great place for a little german flavor.

Visiting from NC. After reading reviews I was very jazzed about eating some authentic German food at Brewhaus. I lived in Germany for three years and loved the food, beer, and atmosphere when I was there. Brewhaus is about as far from a German restaurant as one could get. There’s nothing in the atmosphere that is German, and the food certainly wasn’t German. I had the jaeger schnitzel which was deep fried and very thin. Taste was good, if you want deep fried veal. The red cabbage was very good and spatzle was too. Wife had schnitzel and potato salad which she also enjoyed. So, food was just okay, atmosphere was pretty much like a hole in the wall bar, and it was about as far from German as it could be.

Little disappointed with the food portion which was way too small for the price. My daughter and I shared the spatzle and I can't even say if it was good or bad since I got less than a spoonful. Beer and service was fine.

Apparently "closing at 5:00pm" really means "closing at 4:40pm", even if it's just for a beer. They just can't be bothered to tally up their tab again, even if you came during business hours.

I happened upon Brewhaus a few years ago when I took a day trip to Chattanooga and I’ve made it a point to stop here every chance I get to pass through. I happen to have Michelle today as a server and she was GREAT! Not only is the service great but the food is authentic German and delicious as heck. Not to mention, the view from the back patio is a nice overlook of the park next to the river and the prices are amazing! I will definitely be coming here for years to come.
Vegetarian options: Awesome spätzel and vinegar slaw. There are also veggie brat options
Parking: Free parking out front but if it’s full there’s a huge lot behind it that is cheap enough
