Food and drinks were great! We had the oysters to start with the wedge, mushrooms and tomahawk. Richie was our server and we cannot recommend him enough, he truly made the experience top notch!

Frog legs were unseasoned. Steak was of good quality but needed a touch more seasoning. Brussels sprouts were the star of the show 10/10. Disappointing they didn't have bread pudding but I hear it's seasonal. Cheese cake was pretty good.

From the start of the dining experience, Chris was fantastic. He had a great attitude and filled us in on the best food and where to visit after dinner. The center cut filet was amazing, along with all the sides. Also the Tomahawk steak was marvelous. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.

Wonderful dinner here tonight (3/30/2024)! Scallops were sooo good! I also loved the strawberry spinach salad and roasted brussel sprouts. My husband's steak was juicy and tender. Service was perfect! We'll be back!Parking: Valet parking - attentive service

The environment is nice.Service is pretty good.Food: We tried tomahawk steak 32 Oz, it was good, but it’s only the steak and the sides are very expensive and the portion is not that great. Mashed potatoes ($20) and it’s like a portion for 1 person. Whatever side is around that price and is not big. I think paying that for sides is insane and it’s nothing extravagant, it’s only mashed potatoes.Crème brûlée was awesome 10/10Scenic sour cocktail was fenomenal 10/10Overall, it’s a nice place but overpriced for what you get.

Tried to walk up and make reservation at 5:15. Hostess said it would be 8:00. I opened reservation app and made for 7?? Ordered medium burgers. Burgers were way over cooked. Definitely well done. Visit this hotel monthly. Won't be going back to Bridgemans.

What a disappointment. Bridgeman's claims to be an elegant and romantic classic high end steakhouse, but they failed my wife and me on several counts this week. Our Sunday night Anniversary dinner derailed immediately. Bad table, lukewarm food, and frat boys wearing sweatshirts, jeans, sneakers and baseball caps in the dining room. The inexperienced hostess wanted to seat us at the table next to the hostess stand, in the middle of all the traffic in and out. I asked for something else, and we were seated at an awkward table for 4. There were several cozy more appropriate tables for 2 that never got used during our 3 hour dinner, I can't imagine what the hostess was thinking with the odd table assignments.Lukewarm steak and lobster tail, had to be sent back to the kitchen. My wife ate her dinner while I waited for a replacement, never a good situation. Replacement ribeye was tough, and the waiter shrugged it off when I commented about it, he clearly was sending me a message that he believed I was a "problem" customer who didn't merit any more attention. Manager did offer a complimentary glass of wine, but I refused. I do not troll for free stuff. What I ask and expect is that a restaurant that purports to be high end fine dining deliver an experience commensurate with the high price tag. (In my case, our final bill was $378).Finally, set a dress code if you truly want a classy, elegant restaurant. There were four 30-something men in jeans/sneakers/hoodies/baseball caps dining at an adjacent table who looked like Bill Belichick's sons fresh out of an afternoon at Dave and Buster's. Bridgeman's advertises "elegance", but they misfire and don't deliver it. Never again for me.

Tomahawk Steak was low grade and tuff to cut... Much less chew.

Allen, the bartender, is amazing! Best time you will have and DEFINITELY try the Peanut Butter Allen….goodness that is addictive! Ask for Chris for your server at dinner. He’s perfection and has fun with you and your group. Loved both nights at this amazing restaurant. AND the steaks are PERFECT.You’re welcome…enjoy!!

My partner and I celebrated his birthday here this week. It was a great way to end a vacation in Chattanooga. The Read Room is a beautiful hotel and the restaurant and ambience is amazing. My partner and I want to plan another trip to visit again! The waiter made good suggestions, though there was time that the service was a little slow, and long periods where it was difficult to find the service or get anyone’s attention. Otherwise, it was a great experience! Best beet salad I’ve ever had!
