I had eaten there before and Did not like the food. But when coupons came, decided to give it another try. I will never go back again. The fish was fine, the 'hushpuppies' are made with the same batter uses on the fish. Not hushpuppies at all. But it was the treatment that made me ever go again. I am a disabled senior and instead of waiting in line I notices several other people had sent part of their party to get a table. So I took an open table. One of the waiters came over to me and said I had butted in line. And he was loud and rude. So if we had not already made our menu choice we would have just left. But we moved to a bench at the front of the cashier and waited for the food. One of the kitchen helpers saw the treatment and gave us a side dish. But that kind of treatment will kill any business. It sure killed ours.

Today my family and I stopped in to eat at the Hixson location for dinner, we were so impressed with the kindness that we were met with by a young man working the front counter, (Kevin) his smile was so welcoming and he was so polite from beginning to end, what a change from what I see in so many people today. He was so professional (not something you see offended) our food was great (fresh and hot) I knew immediately that I had to write a review !! Thank You “Kevin “ please continue to be exactly who you are and keep smiling!! Because of you we will absolutely be back !!

The food at this Captain D's is GREAT! My husband and I were hesitant to eat here because we had bad food and service from this location a few years ago but clearly something has changed for the better!! We ate inside about two months ago and went thru the drive thru tonight. The fish, chicken and fries were all hot and fresh and the coleslaw was great on both of our visits. I am very glad we decided to give this Captain D's another chance and we will be eating here regularly from now on.
