Went with a dish that was out of the ordinary for me, I ordered the meatball bowl (meatballs were made of mushrooms, walnuts and quinoa) nice consistency the marinara was perfect and the garlicky kale was outstanding. I also had a cup of broccoli cheese soup which was pureed and very good. Chattanooga has some great vegan restaurants!

Great food. The nachos were better than the Meatball Sandwich in my opinion, but it was still great.

So nice to have vegan options. We're from Alabama where there is nothing but friend chicken and BBQ restaurants. Really envious of delicious vegan places like this.

Nice location as well. There's a little bit of free parking which is nice, in a normally crowded area where you have to pay to park everywhere.

No offense to TN, but healthy, green, veg forward vegan options have not been as abundant during our visit. Cashew changed that! They offer beautiful veg forward options across diverse cuisines. We had salads, a beet burger and Thai sweet potato, plus excellent sweet treats. Would highly recommend, and is in a great location next to cool shopping. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-02

I absolutely love this place! I really wish there was one in my hometown because there's barely any places there to get good vegan food. You absolutely cannot go wrong with anything from their menu! The food, drinks, desserts, and service are all excellent! I live in Georgia but I will take this trip just to go here at least once or twice a year!

What they had was good. So the menu isn’t huge but they put love into the dishes they offer. Great service. Cafe sort of dinning vibes but table space for big parties. Vegan cocktails! Nachos were surprisingly great.
Kicking myself for not getting a baked good because they looked amazing.

There’s parking around paid and free depending on your willingness to walk 2 blocks or not

We stopped here on a roadtrip and had a delicious lunch. My husband got a burger which he said was great, and I had the nachos which were absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend this place!

I'm neither vegan nor vegetarian, but I normally choose vegetarian options when out. So a vegetarian friend and I are going to lunch and since she's not from Chatti and I've always wanted to try Cashew, off we went. When you walk in, the first thing to catch your eye will be the treat case. A delicious looking assortment, and if I hadn't been so full... Ok, my friend got one of the bowls, which she said was delicious! I got the Philly Cheesesteak also delicious! The only thing I would suggest is that you cut them in half so they're easier to hold. They do that in Philly ;) We both had leftovers to go. Now all I need to do is get my carnivore hubby to eat there too!

Chips & cashew-queso are always fire. Keep coming back. Good vegan cookies+treats made fresh (passion fruit tart) —from a non-vegan!

My partner and I visited Chattanooga for a birthday trip, and had to make sure we supported 100% vegan options. We had the vegan nachos (no jackfruit), the buffalo bowl, and the chicken salad wrap with a side of Mac & Cheese. The nachos were great! I opted for no jackfruit because I’m not a fan. Their “chili” is mainly beans, but that’s better, in my opinion. The “cheese” was creamy and delicious. The tofu and ranch in the buffalo bowl was amazing, along with the garlicky kale. The “chicken salad” wrap completely blew me away. I have no idea how they managed the texture, and the pairings with their “honey” mustard and fresh pickles was just perfection. The Mac & Cheese was a little overly “NOOCH-Y”, but I found myself scraping the bottom of the bowl by the end. Only complaint was no beer selection because they were in process of renewing their license. Overall I’d definitely return!

First time here but this will def be a regular place! We had the daily special Philly Beyond Beef pimiento subs, meatball sub, chorizo mac, chili mac, tater tots, chips and cashew cheese. Everything was so good, would order all of those things again. The cashew cheese is super tasty
