Delicious food. Excellent service! Mac and cheese and the breading on that fried chicken and the hush puppies. Real southern food.

Hush puppies were okay, Mac and cheese was bland, coleslaw was decent and the sweet tea was very good

This new location is perfect. I really dug the additional space and talk ceiling. My local spot off Lee Highway could use an expansion. The grilled chicken on my salad had a kick off spice and it was a welcome change. Also noticed this location has liquor. I hope to try in the future.

I’m not typically one to leave a bad review, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. We waited over an hour when it wasn’t busy. When food finally arrived, one of the orders was wrong but we didn’t have the time for it to be fixed. I paid and spoke to management. They seemed to not care. This is the last time we’ll eat at Champy’s

Take out order was wrong. Called and had to drive back. There I was informed that out of the goodness of their hearts they would fix it free. How kind, they'll fix their mistake for free. No compensation because I had to drive back. Apparently they will not give you a corporate number. Too bad, they used to be worthwhile to as a business. Now their chicken is only mediocre. Lesson learned.

Place was a little busy on a Sunday after 2pm. Wait for a table was about 10 minutes, might have been a little longer because we requested a booth for our service animal, who was warmly welcomed. Our server was an absolute doll, very attentive with great customer service skills. Took a little longer than I expected to get the food but when it did arrive it was hot and really good. The bill for lunch for 2, non alcoholic drinks and an appatizer, (1st rate fried green tomatoes) came in around 60 with a healthy tip.A little on the spendy side for a late lunch but we felt we got excellent value for the money we spent.

Food was great! Place is decorated very campy and fun, you can even sign a dollar and put it on the wall. Service is hit or miss, I had to get up and go to the waitress stand and get our own plates and to go boxes and a bag because we couldn’t find our waitress each time. We also went to the bar to pay because she never brought us the check. But the chicken was amazing, chicken salad is some of the best I’ve ever had!
