The best fried chicken! Clients raved about this place and I finally had a chance to visit! We were seated immediately and service by Ann was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and customer focused! Absolutely delicious fried chicken and frickles! You have to indulge yourself!
This place really surprised me. I saw it as a hole in the wall but the chicken and green beans were seasoned to the gawds, and that made me forget about the atmosphere. Not so much for the potato salad. The seasoning just sat on top of the potato salad. Ehh
Recently I saw a disparaging review of the service at the downtown MLK Blvd Champys. I can attest, as someone who frequents the restaurant 3 to 4 times a week, that the service from EVERY member of any Champy's location, is nothing but STELLAR!
