OUTSTANDING!! This is must-try BBQ in Chattanooga. We’re visiting from Atlanta and chose Chatt Smoke House over a few other choices…best decision! Talk to James, the owner. He’s got great stories and his ribs and pork plates are fantastic. The beans, potato salad, Cole slaw and fried okra are some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Love it!!!

Ordered pulled pork plate. It came with a hamburger bun. There was enough pork to do three sandwiches. Baked beans were great. Sauces were homemade. Banana pudding was delicious. Alvin, owners brother, even gave me a rib to try. People were great. A small hometown restaurant that has been there 15 years. Go and try it yourself.

I was passing through Chattanooga, and was trying to get someplace when I pulled over on ML King Blvd to check my directions. Had the windows of the car down because it was a beautiful evening, and got this whiff of an amazing smokehouse. I look up, and I see "Chatt Smokehouse". Now, I'm just passing through, never been in that part of 'Nooga before, but I'm feeling like Aladdin who just found a magic lamp. I figure I have to try it; I mean, the Almighty himself directed me to it! All I have to say is the - Best. Ribs. Ever. If you don't make it down there to get some of what James is cooking, you are SERIOUSLY missing out. Next time I'm in town, I guarantee I'll be back for a whole lot more!

I can always eat ribs!! We stopped by around 7ishpm. If you expect your wait to be fast, this place isn't for you...(you can always call in your order and pick it up if you don't want to wait.) If you don't mind waiting a little while for food and chat with your companion go ahead and order!! Fresh, hot food is the best. The rib plate was DELICIOUS, and the potato salad is good, too!! They do stay busy, but that's okay. Service was on point for us friendly people. I'll be back to eat, more ribs, good Lord willing, and the creek don't rise! Oh, the bbq sace has a vinaigrette flavor, which I don't mind at all. Pretty cool vibe. The customers are mostly regulars and stay to them self and are friendly. Thank you very much! God bless..

Food: Ribs have a good flavor tender order how you like wet or dry. Wet sauce is on the vinegar side. BBQ beans heated up pork and beans with a hint of BBQ sauce splashed at it. Potato salad mustard based had a good taste reminded me of Sunday church lunch. Smoked chicken breast was good but needed to be half the sauce for my taste but had a good taste and flavor. Fried are crinkled with seasoning good with some leftover sauce Sweet tea, canned drinks, and a few bottle options. Service: Fresh with a friendly attitude!! Ambiance: Very nice outside the seating area inside is pretty typical for the area.
