Though mildly traumatized by open mic comedy night, I would do it again if it meant I got to hang out at this banger of a bar. This place kinda split the difference between a neighborhood bar with character and a destination spot for a club show. Felt good to me - a place of a place. Couldn't be anywhere but where it is. Lots of characters. Food looked solid, though we had already eaten. Staff was attentive - cool, not fawning, we didn't get thirsty. And actually, propers...

Nice place, smaller but not crowded by any means. The staff there are super nice, on time with things and over all, just really nice ladies. The food menu is smaller, but the food was fabulous. I had the tavern burger and chili, both got 2 thumbs up from me.
