Friendly and great service! Portions were very reasonable for the price, and everything tasted delicious. The chicken skin was perfectly charred. Highly recommend trying the Yuca fries too!”

Absolutely loved the food. I went and there was no music and no TVs playing, and I truly enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. I don't know if it that was a regular experience, but I wish more places were quiet like that.

I ordered online and I got a confirmation email and text and they took the money out of my account and when my boyfriend went to pick up our order, the place was closed! It was 7:54pm!!! If your ad says you don't close until 9pm then your staff should be there working!! I'm so disappointed with the fact that this place is so quick to take a customer's money and then not follow through with the order 😡 I will never order from this place again!

Arrived at 7:45pm on a Monday and they said they were closed. If you advertise as being open until 9, you need to keep cooking until then. I came from my hotel using public transportation. Thank God it was free, but that was still highly disappointing. Just beware, this is one of those businesses that just closes when they feel like it. Someone else in another review mentioned the same thing happened to them at lunch time. Maybe call ahead to see what hours they feel like keeping that day.
Ordered the half chicken. Was expecting white and dark meat. Only served two leg quarters. Nice smoke on the meat. The skin was far from crispy. I normally eat all the skin if crispy. Today, I ate no skin. It can with Mexican corn, Charo beans and tortillas. I left full. The beans were the best thing on my tray. If I lived here, I probably wouldn't eat here again. My wife got the chicken bowl and only ate 1/3 of it.

That was the driest, most unflavorful piece of chicken ever! Grocery store rotisserie chicken is far better and 95% cheaper. My family and I stopped eating and went elsewhere. The skin is basically unseasoned and gooey, soft not crispy like it looks. The sweet potato fries had a weird flavor like old grease. The cole slaw is very vinegar based which I wasn't a fan of, but that's simply personal preference. The Mexican street corn "hot sauce" taste like bad ketchup and the drinks were 90% ice. It was all just very disappointing and nothing like these other reviews lead me to believe. Waste of money. We went to Community Pie across the street after to finish eating.. much better choice.

Tried to come eat here, but there was no one to take our orders. There was a guy working in the kitchen who saw us but he didn't try to assist.

Food was ready really quickly and a man working there was so nice. The half chicken with two sides is a great deal. Definitely going to be one of my go to lunch spots.

UNBELIEVABLE value. Some of the best roasted/rotisserie/charred chicken I’ve ever had in my life, I got the optional lemon pepper dusting and what a great decision. Super friendly staff, chill atmosphere. Can’t miss.

Really great new restaurant!! The chicken was so incredible and there are about 15 other things I want to try when I come back. (Which I definitely will be ) really great lunch spot so if you work around broad or market I highly suggest you stop in.

I had high hopes for this place based on reviews. First, the woman taking orders was very nice. However, the food was some of the worst I have had at a restaurant. The chicken itself was too salty to eat. It was clearly cooked quite a bit earlier and had rubbery, unrendered fat in the skin. The chicken salad with pico was just weird and quite frankly, gross. Barely any lettuce could be found, but there sure was a lot of water. So much water that I couldn't justify finishing it. As I said, it was gross. Thankfully, I received a partial refund. Maybe the takeout orders are better quality?

Based on these previous reviews I’m not sure if I just got a really bad order or they are paying people for reviews… ordered 12 wings and half chicken with 2 sides. I threw out over half the wings, they were super fatty, gristly, and had a weird slimy texture to them, almost like they were undercooked. And the half chicken was dry af, and I mean dry, we had to drown it in sauce just to try and put it down. The Mac and Cheese was just mid, cisco type, boring Mac you get at every chain restaurant.
