I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of okra, and unfortunately, the quality was really disappointing. The pulled pork was dry and lacked flavor, and the okra was soggy and overcooked. I was looking forward to a hearty, Southern-style meal, but this just didn’t deliver. Hoping the kitchen can step things up, because right now, it’s not worth the price.

The last 2 times we have ordered from choo choo upon opening the plate we have instantly seen hair coming out of the food. Granted they have replaced it both times , the staff other then the man outside on the smoker have been so rude and treated us as if we were the bad guys. Do better choo choo, your food is too good for your presentation and customer service to be so bad !

Choo Choo BBQ has been great for the last ten years. The quality has really went down hill lately.

This place is a freaking hidden gem! I am not kidding when I say this - anytime I go to Chattanooga- I will stop by and get pulled pork. It’s absolutely incredible!!!!! And the staff are amazing. The prices super affordable!!!!!’ They have been here a long time for a reason! Strongly recommend!!!!

If you’re anywhere near Chattanooga and you don’t stop at Choo-Choo Barbecue, you’re missing out on what might be the best decision of your day. The moment they open that window to take your order, you’re wrapped in that smoky, slow-cooked aroma that makes you forget every diet you’ve ever been on.

The pulled chicken and pork? Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor so deep it tastes like it’s been kissed by the smoke for hours (because it has).

The staff treats you like family and their customer service is refreshing to finally see hospitality with no excuses. I feel like since Covid, so many restaurant staff, have somehow lost all common courtesy and do not care. But not here! It’s somewhere that you want to go even if the food was just mediocre just bc of the customer service. Now we know that’s not the case with the taste of the food so combining those two together is rare to find! You won’t be disappointed!

Came to get a slaw dog and soda. The girl said it was gonna be $8.69 and I said is it not the price posted on the board and she said it says prices can change and slammed the window on me. i was gonna cancel my order cause thats alot to pay for hot dog and soda. The hot dog was rubbery and nasty, the slaw was good. I will not be back to waste money and deal with a rude little girl at the window. Some places just want your money and don't care about the feed back the customer has to say.
