This charming little place needs to be visited by anyone feeling like they need from scratch home cooking. Their bbq is tender and juicy. I haven’t been in a place that felt that warm and inviting in a long time. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is lovely. I love supporting local business. Also, the best slaw in the area for your bbq sandwiches.

I visited them to see what was going on when they help the unhoused and less than fortunate. I was very impressed with what I saw. The people who run this happening are super friendly and not pushy. It's uplifting to watch people who care in action.

I was in Chattanooga recently seeing patients. I Googled places to eat near me. I picked this one. I'm so happy I did! This is obviously a family owned and operated business, which I love. I ordered the hamburger steak and oh my! I had to give props to the cook. I felt like I was eating a meal at my grandmother's table. Absolutely amazing. I ordered bbq and corn nuggets to take with me on the road. When I am in town again, I will definitely go back.

In town to see Rock City, I passed by this “Chubby place” on my way to Del Taco. So I’m eating a burrito and still thinking about BBQ. Look up the reviews online and they were awesome. So off to Chubby’s BBQ I go and boy, did I benefit from that decision. The pork sandwich I got made for a yummy meal up on Lookout Mtn. Great service too! Nice to give some of my currency to a well run local family business.
